Chapter ten

Bella

I wake up to see my mate watching me. I look down and see that the shirt that I have on is now under my chest. When I look back up I can now tell that what he is looking at isn't just my body but one of the spots that separates the two of us. Suddenly I feel a burn all around my skin. No please let this not be happening now .

"Jacob?" A female voice says from the other side of the door. " It's noon if you are still asleep then I'm gonna come in there and wake your butt up!"

A low rumble started in my chest and became louder as the bedroom door opens. "Vik I'm up. I'm getting dressed so shut the door and go ahead and take Livvie to the park or something." He says, noticing my reaction. The door shuts and I hear a sequel then the front door shut.

I roll on top of him and stare. The fire that my body is going though stops. I hug him and he just holds me back. "You're burning up. Are you okay?" He asks, I shake my head. "I'm going to get Dylan." He goes to move me but I wrap my legs around his hips and my arms around his neck. He gets up and puts one hand under me to keep me from falling. As he moves though the apartment to locate his phone a shadow appears behind us. I sniff the air to see if it's someone I know and find out that Dill is already here. I move my head into my mate's neck and he looks down at me and looks back feeling the eyes on us. Dylan moves forward only for a low growl to come out of Jacob. The younger male takes a step back shock clear on his face.

"I heard something fall in here so I was making sure that you were okay." he says. Walking back to the door.

Heat I told him through link. He nods and leaves.

"Jacob?" I whisper. He hums, " I really need you to not freak out. You know how last night I asked if you believed in werewolves and you said sure?" he nods. "Good set me down in the living room."

He walks there then sets me down, fire crawling over my skin at the loss of touch. I think of my wolf and I hear the bones popping out of place. "BELLE!" he yells hearing the bones as well. Yet as soon as I have paws he is quite, no longer scared for me but now looking at my grey wolf. "Wow" i shift back forgetting that I'm naked in front of my mate in heat. It's one look and we are back in the bedroom.
