I race down the hall along with a bunch of other people from the orphanage. Ms. Linda, Ms. Adriana and Mr. Charles are already in their seats but we had to wait to be dismissed from class.

Today is Ariana's eighth grade graduation and I couldn't be more proud of her. Over the last two years, Ari has become the most important person in my life and after losing my family I never thought I'd trust anyone other than the staff at the orphanage but then Victoria came along and change everything.

She makes me smile and laugh, some would say she's like the little sister I never got to meet but she's more than that. She's everything to me and I know boys my age never think about the future but I do, I always have and I can see Ariana in my future as more than just my friend.

So much more

I can't believe it, I've made it through middle school and next year I'll be off to high school

I can't believe it, I've made it through middle school and next year I'll be off to high school. I'll be off with Jason again and I can't wait because we'll have at least two years together since he'll be a junior and I'll be a freshmen.

I'm so excited

"Congratulations Ariana" Mr. Tiffany says in front of me

"Thank you" I smile
