My names Myrrh. I'm 16 years old and I'm a Christian, it's the most important thing to me. But sometimes I feel trapped, my parents won't let me read anything that is not the Bible or for school, they say anything else will give me ideas and open my mind to sin. I'm not allowed to cut my hair, I have bright red hair that my parents say would tempt men to sin if left loose, so I put it in milkmaid braids everyday. I can't wear above the knee dresses because they would tempt men to sin. And most importantly I am not allowed to seek treatment for my spasms. My hands spasm randomly, and I can't treat it because my parents say that going to a doctor means that I don't trust God.
