Your POV~

You and your little brother were going to run away the house you both lived in, it wasn't abusive or hurtful to the both of you in any way it just restricted you both from living the lives you've always wanted, just keeps you away from the world.  You and him lived alone with you always having to work double shifts and over work yourself the brim.  You both just couldn't take it anymore; your brother knew you were suffering for the both of you to even eat or keep the bill up to date.

As you and him started running in the direction of the city you always worked at, shopped at, and walked around at.  You knew a friend there from work who worked there as a side job for extra cash, they knew you and your brothers' condition and allowed to take you both in since you trusted them very much.  You were so caught up in your thoughts you didn't notice that your little brother wasn't behind you.

"Little bro?.. LITTLE BRO?! H-HEY WHERE DID YOU GO?!! SYRIN (L/N) PLEASE COME OUT THIS ISN'T THE TIME TO BE PLAYING HIDE N SEEK!!" you screamed hoping he would hear you, but you didn't hear anything.  You ran the opposite direction to try and track him down since he must've gotten lost back there.  It started to storm, hard, since the weather in your area can become bright sunshine and crystal-clear skies, to gloomy dark clouds and hard pouring rain. The big raindrops came down really heavy and when it hit your exposed skin it almost stung, it became hard to see anything and denser. Running up the mountain more and more made it harder to breathe with the air thinning, which made you dizzy and slower, but your brother being out here anywhere made you push forward.

The trees became thicker and bigger, the roots bulging out the ground as if it's the veins of the mountain

The trees became thicker and bigger, the roots bulging out the ground as if it's the veins of the mountain. They became so hard to dodge that you tripped on one and fell into the mud, getting on your hands and knees you crawled. It eventually became you only using your hands and arms to move, the energy in you draining every second. It was too hard to see and became freezing to the point where your body just stopped working properly and you just turned onto your back and closed your eyes, praying to make it out safely with your brother. Eventually, you blacked out.

The rain still poured hard down onto the roof of the Manor, the raindrops on the window racing and tracing out lines as it falls along it.  You wake up in a soft warm bed with white silky velvet sheets, confused. You snap back into reality and realize your brother could be still missing, you throw the sheets off you and attempt to stand up.

Once you stand up you feel dizzy and a sting near your eye, you look at the full body mirror and notice a bandage on your temple.  You ignored it not caring about yourself, even mad that you might've lost Syrin. As soon as you opened the door, a figure that was just standing there, you fell back shocked but not scared from your adrenaline pumping rapidly. He just said something that you couldn't comprehend in the moment and as soon as you blinked, he was gone.

Whatever the fuck it was, it looked almost contempt to keep you here, because if it cared you were hurt or even there to begin with, they would've checked on you not just stand behind the door.
