"I'm not surprised that you pull that outfit better than him," Hayoung snickered.

"Of course, I can pull off anything. I'm the Kim Youngjo," He smirked, she rolled her eyes playfully.

They were walking around the mall, Hayoung wore a simple blouse, long enough to hide her bandages with shorts meanwhile Youngjo was wearing Taejun's outift that was left behind in her house, a striped top and long coat paired with tight jeans. She wanted to recycle the outfits but instead, gave it to Youngjo.

"Those were long time ago, he must have forgotten about them" She shrugged her shoulders.

She admit it pained her seeing him wearing those clothes, reminding her days with him. But as time passed, she chuckled, somehow seeing only Youngjo side profile ease her. Yea, it's going to be okay.

"So.. What do you want to do?" Youngjo questioned, turned his head towards her. Catching her staring at him.

"Ah! Geez, I rarely go shopping. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.." Hayoung went flustered and pouted, fiddling with her fingers. "You plan it.."

Her workaholic attitude prevented her from doing all the fun, she was so busy staring at the laptop screen, she never made plan for herself. She will make time if it's for her friends but almost none for herself. She sighed in defeat at the thought.

"Fine.. Let's just.. Window shopping or watch a movie."

Whatever Youngjo suggested along the way, Hayoung agreed without a thought. She was clearly clueless on what was she supposed to do, she only came to the mall for specific needs and left. The most frequent place she goes outside her home is her workplace and the supermarket.

"Ah, there's the cinema. Let's go!" Youngjo grinned and grabbed her hand, walking faster to the place.

Hayoung smiled at their hands in touch, how perfectly compatible it was.

...

"The movie was good but who the hell thought the girl leaving her bestfriend was a good idea." Hayoung grumpily stabbed the pork cutlet with her chopsticks.

After the movie, they were having lunch at a restaurant.

"That was the best part. you cried didn't you?" Youngjo chuckled and fed himself a spoon of rice. Hayoung huffed and stabbed the pork cutlet more.

"Ya! Stop it.. You're going to ruin it" Youngjo whined, pointing at the half mashed cutlet.

Hayoung stopped and pouted, picking up the almost ruined food. She looked at Youngjo and saw a grain of rice at the corner of his lips.

"Youngjo.." She pointed at the corner of her mouth.

He instantly got what was she signalling and like a mirror, he reflected her action.

"No.. The other way." Hayoung giggled, standing up a little and reached out her hand towards his lips. She brushed away the grain but she abruptly stopped.

"Ah.. It became that scene." Hayoung's mouth formed a straight line, remembering the cliché scene in the romance movie they watched.

Youngjo was holding his laugh and Hayoung felt the blood rushing in her cheeks. She quickly sat back down and hearing Young releasing his laugh, she screamed internally.

"Shut up.." Hayoung groaned, grew embarrassed and covered her face, only making Youngjo laughed more.

Somehow, Hayoung didn't mind him laughing. It sounded lovely to her and she could hear it all day. How could such a laugh swoon her?

They were checking out a few clothes, mostly Youngjo becoming the judge of her style. He kept picking what suits her best, she felt like he knew her style more than herself. She doesn't know if she should be ashamed by the fact.

"Okay, if you only picked-"

"Kim Youngjo?"

The voice froze Youngjo. Someone called him from behind, Hayoung turned her head at the voice and saw a woman with long hair, very pretty.

"Who are you?" Hayoung smiled amd put the clothes back at the racks, she faced the woman. Youngjo slowly turning his gaze at her, eyes widened.

"A-ain.." Youngjo said with stiffness, feeling his heart was tugging. Hayoung's demeanour towards the stranger changed in a split second.

She stared at Ain from head to toes, she was like a white lotus, could do no harm. Hayoung clenched her jaws, this was the same person that left Youngjo alone in the mirror.

"I'm happy you didn't forget about me, why are you hanging out with her?" She showed dissatisfaction at Hayoung, which only replied her with bored eyes.

"Could have call me after you got out of the mirror then.. Maybe, we can work things-" She was about to grab for Youngjo's hand but was swatted by Hayoung. She doesn't want to bring Ain's drama into her life, especially starting it at a public place. She doesn't want anything to ruin this day.

Hayoung sent Ain a scowl before grabbing Youngjo and dragged him outside the shop. Hayoung felt anger bubbling inside her, she couldn't forget who Ain was and what she did to him. Ever. They heard a faint "wait" behind but Hayoung was having none of it. Dragging him up to the escalator, reaching the 4th level.

They sat down at a bench, "Are you okay?" Hayoung asked.

"Yea.." Youngjo was paralyzed, meeting Ain in the eyes. "Its stupid how I froze, I hate this.." He groaned and pinched his nosebridge in frustration.

Hayoung engulfed him in a hug, making Youngjo blushed at the sudden affection. "That girl doesn't deserve you, it's okay. If she ever came back, I will commit murder" She joked, releasing the tension in the atmosphere.

He laughed, feeling fuzzy in her embrace.

They decided to end their day and took a taxi home, but before reaching home, they decided to stop at the neighbourhood playground and sat at the swings. The breeze flowing through the night, enjoying the comfortable cold atmosphere.

Hayoung looked at Youngjo, who seemed trouble. "Hey.. Didn't I say I will commit-" Hayoung thought he was still thinking about Ain, she poked his shoulder.

"I want to meet my parents."

She exclaimed. "Then go! I'm sure they will be happy to see you-"

"What if they don't? I left them for too long and suddenly I came back? Isn't that weird? Wouldn't that be.. Awkward?" Youngjo bit his lips.

"I don't even know how long I left them.." He sighed.

Hayoung quiet down.
