new Arizona didn't want me to worry about her but she's my best friend of course I'm going to worry.

It was quiet  in the pit as was to be expected for just after 5 am, so I went to find Karev up in the nicu.
"Karev can I  borrow you?"
"Two minutes kepner "
"Alex,did you see Arizona yesterday?"
"I mean yeah she was-"
"Did she seem different?"
"She was in surgery then she left,"
Upon seeing the look on my face he continued
"Yeah I suppose she was quiet why?"
"Just checking i wasn't being paranoid "
Great Karev noticed her being different, something was definitely wrong .
Arizona didn't  like to talk about the plane crash which I  understand but she also didn't like to talk about her pain ,she only spoke about it last time  when it had almost killed her.
She couldn't do that again,  I couldn't do that again.
(Authors note :this next bit may uncomfortable for some  so feel free to read past, nothing to bad just a car accident)
we had a few small trauma's mainly small  head lac's come in.
When I heard  Hunt yell "Grey ,kepner let's go trauma coming in"and with those words Meredith grey and I began to run ,her infront and me just  behind, hunt was at the ambulance bay as they started unloading.
"Grey , send kepner back"
Meredith turned to me
"No I'm coming I'm a trauma surgeon this is my job"
I pushed past Meredith to see Hunt standing next to a gurney talking to a paramedic speaking words i didn't hear.
I saw the look  on Hunt's face when he saw me and I knew I just knew.I fell to my knees,sobbing  ,I saw her less than 7  hours ago how did this happen?
The next thing I knew Grey and Avery had my arms over their shoulders and they were helping me to my feet.
I turned to look at Grey "Arizona"
With that Grey just looked at me,nodded at Avery to go and led me to the residents lounge.
"April sit down"
"Meredith I'm fine "
She didn't say anything more but went and sat down opposite me so I sat on the chair behind me.
"April, Arizona is in surgery-"
I felt my breathing quicken
"April, April don't panic, Arizona was hit by a car that she apparently walked infront of ,she's going to be okay, I just need too..."
Meredith's voice trailed off  , I couldn't breathe Arizona was in surgery, she walked infront of a car, how?
I couldn't breathe,  I don't know what happened , I must have  passed out, because when I came round I was in a gurney  in a room. With a note stuck on my bed which read 'arizona is fine, get some  rest  -M x'
My head was killing i must have hit my head when fell.
I decided to take the advice and try to rest and I slept well for the first time in months I slept.
