So, Long Time, No See

"Live from Central Park, here's Selina Burdine with a shocking report," says the burly black man on the tv screen.
The camera is immediately on Selina in The park standing with a stout, brunette lady in her 30's maybe.
"Hi there. I'm here with Mrs. Thompson whom has a video of the shocking event that just happened on the side walk about 30 meters from where she was tending to her child about 10 minutes ago."
The women handed her phone to the camera man who fumbled with the camera before the video took over the screen. There was a child whom appeared to be about 9 years old playing with his kite when a swift being ran between the camera and the child. The phone turned to where the women ran. I watched as the women struck a blow to the side of a man's neck watching him crumple to the ground. She then threw the man over her shoulder and turned to face the camera immediately spinning on her heels and sprinting off. I paused and rewinded the video pausing on the woman's face. I noticed the strawberry red hair and tight red lips. After studying the face I sat dumbfounded thinking how the hell could she be so dumb.
"Mae!" I yelled over Halsey's "Is There Somewhere". The music stopped and she whipped her door open. "What the hell do you want?" She snapped.
"Nothing, just wanted to ask if you want to go to the park."
"Why the hell would I go with you?" She sneered.
"Well I figured you might want to talk to your mom."
