Chapter 6

As Keigo flew up you looked down partly amazed and partly nervous you didn't dare tell Keigo you were afraid of heights because it would ruin the time between you two you loved being this close to him. But you were amazed at the scene below you the picture perfect night above the city, making all the people look as they were just tiny ants below Keigo and you. You didn't notice you were shaking until Keigo spoke up, "Baby bird? Are you cold?" " No Keigo Im alright!" You nervously blurt not wanting to let him or this moment go you were so happy so comfortable. So in love. "Don't lie to me now song bird.." you shook even more at the thought of upsetting Keigo. You didn't want to hurt him but you didn't want him to hurt you, since your last relationship...your last partner was quite abusive when you lied or you upset him in any way. Keigo raised his hand to brush your cheek just to make sure you weren't too cold but you flinched and dodged out of pure muscle memory not meaning to upset Keigo but you saw the small flicker of hurt in his eyes as he lands in a tree and wraps his wings around you attempting to keep you warm and safe. "Hey what was that about kid!?" "Hm? o-oh Keigo Im sorry I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or upset you...its just that I got used to having to dodge my ex's rough hits or attacks it wasn't meant to upset you I was just scared..." "Oh kid.." Keigo looks at you with worry and pain in his eyes you knew it hurt him to see you sad or upset in any way.. "Tomorrow kid I promise I'll give you a little TLC alright?" You nod in response the happiness and love  back in Keigo's eyes you smiled seeing his spark back. You couldn't wait for the next day to arrive....
