Happens to an Awakened Drage who has gone too long without shedding their second skin; whether forced or by choice. Incredibly painful and lethal if left untreated. Can be treated by having the affected Drage shed their second skin and stay in their true form for six months to a year without putting on their second skin. Symptoms of Skyftesyke include:
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Headaches
- Lack of appetite
- Aloofness
- Hallucinations
- Cramps
- Muscle atrophy/weakness
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Loss of second skin hair
- Glassy/foggy eyes
- Weight loss
- Insomnia
- Self mutilation
- Repeated behaviors
