I found the perfect gift for him. It took just over an hour. Once I had paid for it I rushed out to the bus stop. No bus was waiting. There was a cab dropping someone off. I went over to it. Once the fare got out I slipped in.
“Hey, you're that kid skater. Dude you got moves!” the driver grinned at me. He looked to be not much older than Otabek. I gave him a wane smile back.
“Thank you.” I told him my address and he pulled out. We exchanged small talk about practice the dedication to skating and crap like that. My nerves were on high alert and I really just wanted to get home. I tried hard not to bounce my leg to speed the car along.
It was only twenty minutes, but it felt like hours before we were pulling up in front of my building. I gave him the last of the cash I had on me. Jumping out I waved a goodbye before rushing inside. The elevator was too slow for me so I bounded up the steps. Reaching my door I heard voices inside.
“Seriously, what do you have against this kid?” Otabek demanded.
“That is my business not yours.” I knew that voice. I shoved the door open.
“Lila?” I starred as she stood stock still dead center in between the living room and kitchen. She turned slowly. Her witch like face curling up slightly before she gave me a sarcastic smile.
“Ah, Yuri, there you are.” She moved toward me. I almost wanted to back out of my own place. “I see Yakov found you decent living arrangements. Your roommate is an ass though.” I smirked.
“Yeah well, we get along alright.” Her head tilted back so that she was looking down her long thin nose at me.
“Yes well, I was doing some cleaning. I found those in the attic. She pointed to a few boxes tucked under the counter.
“Thanks.” I muttered.
“Stay well, Yuri.” She said before gliding past me. I snorted. Otabek stood with his hip leaning against the end of the counter. His arms crossed he was looking down at his booted feet. I watched him as I closed the door. His eyes looked up at me through his hair.
“I’m sorry. I can be a bit jealous.” I muttered holding the bag tightly in my arms.
“Jealous?” he said rising his head. I felt my cheeks heat up as I looked around.
“When, uh it come to, uh Victor and uh Yuri…” I muttered. What the hell was I saying? I screamed in my head. Walking up to him I shoved the bag into his arms.
“Happy Birthday.” I leapt up on the counter to head to my room. Before I could jump up to catch the balcony rails, arms wrapped around my waist. I was yanked from the counter awkwardly. We fell in a heap on the couch.
“What the hell!?” I yelled at him trying to get untangled from his arms.
“Stop it, Yuri!” he yelled flipping me around easily. I looked up. My hair had fallen over most of my face. I glared at him in between the locks. He sat on my waist, pinning my arms above my head.
“Just stop it.” He whispered. He put both of my wrists into one of his large hands. I could only lay there watching him. Carefully he brushed my hair out of my face. A small smile curved his lips, once he could see my entire face. “All I wanted from today was to spend it with you.” He stated. Blinking up at him I said the one thing that came to mind.
“Why?” he chuckled. Instead of answering he slowly bent toward me.
“Because its you.” He whispered right before his lips pressed into mine. My body reacted before my brain could. I jerked my head back into the cushions of the couch. It was almost like he expected this. His mouth followed me. I relaxed as he pressed our lips tighter together.
I had never been kissed before. Nor had I kissed anyone before. The feeling of his lips on mine short circuited my brain. My lips parted slightly. His tongue licked over the bottom one sending sensations along my spine. It darted into my mouth. What was this feeling? My body felt like it was melting, into him. His hand relaxed on my wrist. His other one slipped down to my side.
His tongue was brushing over mine, gentle licks. I lifted it he twirled his around it. Then sucked it into his own mouth. I gasped as it sent electricity slamming into my nerves. I moaned his name but it came out sounding weird. His chest vibrated with a soft laugh, but he didn’t pull away. Instead he laid down, stretching his body over mine.
The arm holding my wrists let go. He put it around me pulling me into his arms. The kiss deepened. My arms came down to wrap around his neck. Hungrily my fingers entwined into fists in his hair. I didn’t understand the sensations going through my body, but I didn’t want them to stop either. After a few more minutes he pulled back slightly. His lips just barely off of mine.
“That was the perfect birthday gift.” He whispered. Our mouths were still so close together that his lips brushed against mine as he spoke. I snorted.
“Well you could have said that earlier. I wouldn’t have wasted an hour and a half at the mall trying to find you the perfect gift.” I retorted. The space between us was small, but I tried to pull my arms down into it. He didn’t let me.
Pressing our bodies closer together I felt his warm palm on my bare back. His other hand brushed the hair back once more. It had fallen into my left eye when he had shifted to lay beside me. Heat ignited in my cheeks. He kissed each one.
“You are so cute when you blush.” He whispered.
“Otabek?” I asked.
“Yes, Yuri?” one brow arched a bit.
“Shut the hell up and kiss me.” I demanded.
“As you wish.” He chuckled as he brought our lips together again. This time I felt like I knew a bit more. I fought his tongue trying to get him to allow me to suck on it like he had done mine. I lost as he was much better at this. I relaxed letting him do what he wanted. His hand on my back bunched up my shirt as it roved over my skin. Little electric sparks hit where ever it touched me. I pulled away long enough to get the fabric out of our way. Then found his mouth once more.
It was a few minutes longer before he pulled away. Pushing himself up on his elbow he looked back down at me. “Tell me, was that the first time you made out with someone?” the blush to my face was all the answer he needed.
“Thought so.” Running a hand over his face he looked at me. “I’m not gonna lie, Yuri. I want you more than anything. But I’m not going to push you or go to fast. I would like to spend the rest of the night with you. Maybe go to my room, watch a movie and just sleep beside each other?” Oh my God was he cute when he looked so sheepish. It was my turn to reach up to brush the hair out of his eyes.
“I wouldn’t mind that.” I said. “But you have to do something for me first.” I hinted.
“Anything!” he looked so eager to please me.” I punched him. In the chest lightly.
“Open your damn present!” I half heartedly yelled at him. He tossed his head back to laugh.
“Alright.” He got off of me. I pulled the shirt back on as he frowned.
“Don’t worry, you will like my pajamas.” I smirked at him. He went over to where he had dropped the bag on the counter before he pulled me off of it. Pulling the box out he opened it. His laughter was all I needed to hear. I stepped up slipping my arms around him. Of course I had to stand on my tippy toes to look over his shoulder.
“Do you like it?” I asked. His arm came around my waist as he pulled me before him.
“Nope.” He said. I frowned staring down at the gift. What had I done wrong? His lips kissed my forehead.
“I love it, Yuri.” Jerking my head up I looked at him. My mouth was slightly open and I quickly closed it when I saw his eyes dart down to it.
“You, you do?” I asked. He nodded.
“Yes, I do!” he kissed me then. I curled my arms tighter around his neck. He lifted me up. My legs encircled his waist. When his mouth left mine, I laid my head in the crock of his neck and shoulder.
“It’s the first present I bought someone on my own." I told him. His strong arms tightened around me.
“Thank you, Yuri.” I swear he had a kink about saying my name!
“You're welcome, Otabek.” I told him. He sat me on a stool.
“I have to try them on.” He pulled off his motorcycle boots I separated the slippers, breaking the tags off. I held them out to him one at a time. He slipped them on. His feet were now in Beaker’s, from Sesame Streets, mouth. They looked so cute on him. I chuckled.
He scooped me up, kissing me as he spun around in a circle. “This was the best birthday ever.” He told me. I laughed, happy that he was happy.
“Lift me up!” I said tilting my head back I saw we were under the railings for my bedroom. He lifted me up. I reached out catching hold of the bottom rung. He kept his hands on my legs so that I wouldn’t kick him in the face. Once he was out of the way I swung up into my room.
Changing quickly into pajamas I walked down the stairs. I had put my Oscar slippers on. He doubled over laughing when he saw what I was wearing. Tears in his eyes as he gasped for breath. I smirked at him. I locked the door and turned on the security alarm as he laughed.
“Oh my God, you are so fucking cute!” he cried. Arms came around behind me.
“And soft if you pet it.” I told him. His hand stroked the green fur over my chest. They went a little low, but I didn’t stop him. Instead I wrapped my arms around his neck arching backwards to give him full access to my body. He kissed my neck.
“Not tonight, Yuri. You're not ready yet. But trust me, ir won’t be much longer. I’m not that restrained.” His warmth was gone. His hand found mine.
“Come on, you promised me snuggles.” He smiled as he pulled me toward his bedroom. I sat on the bed as he changed into a tank top and shorts. Picking up his tablet from where it was charging he slipped into bed beside me. I curled up with my head on his chest. The tablet sat on his lap.
“Anything in particular you want to watch?” he asked. I tucked my hands under my chin as I shook my head.
“It's your birthday just pick something.” I grouched.
“Fitting.” He chuckled. Yeah just because I was wearing an Oscar the grouch onesie. I smacked his stomach. He chuckled. Once he found a movie, his arms circled me. I pulled the blankets over us as I snuggled into his warmth. I couldn’t tell you much about the movie. I had never been this cozy before. Sleep took me quickly.
