Chapter 08

-Deku POV-

I grab my keys and unlock the door. I slowly close it behind me. I sneak upstairs until I feel a sharp pain in the back of my head. I groan in pain as I feel my body hit the hard, cold floor.

I wake up to see a dark room. I look around, trying to see where I am. I try to yell out, but I feel tape on my mouth. My screams became muffles. "Care to explain why your late?" says a familiar voice. The man moves closer. He gets ontop of me. I begin to tear up. I start to kick, try to scream. I feel a pain in my leg. I realize that he had triggered another shock collar on my leg. He takes off the tape on my mouth. "W-Who are you..?" I say. "Wow, you don't even recognize your own step-fathers voice?" he says. My eye's widen. "W-Why.." I says, weakly. He doesn't answer.  He takes off my clothes and starts tracing my chest. "Your a shitty step-son, but you make a nice toy, Izuku." he says. I try to kick him off, but it's no use. Then there it is. My only hope. My phone rings. He gets distracted, and I make a run for it. I grab an oversized sweatshirt that was thrown on the floor, and run. I swing the door open. I run. I don't know where I'm going, or where I'm going to go. But that doesn't matter anymore. As long as I get as far away from that hell hole, I'm fine. 

I continue running, until I trip. I look up and see that I'm at UA. "Midoriya?" I hear someone say. I turn around and see Todoroki. Shit. Why is he here? I open my mouth to say something, but I feel my vision get blurry. "Todo.." I say quietly before I black out.

-Todoroki POV-

"Todo.." Midoriya says before collapses. "I-" I say before rushing to pick Midoriya up. I take a moment to examine him. He only had an oversized sweatshirt on, with some boxers. His hair was messy, and he had bags under his eyes. What happened? I take him inside the UA building. I look around to see if a nurse was there. No one. I look in the classrooms. No one. I go to the other side of the school, where the 3rd year classrooms are. I see that they have a little 'lobby', where there was a coffee machine and couches. I place Midoriya onto one of the couches. I sit on the couch faces Midoriya. I sit there, examining his face. 

-Deku POV-

I feel my eyes flutter open. I see Todoroki on a couch facing me, sleeping peacefully. Why does he choose to hang out with me? He is clearly too perfect to have a friend like me. "Midoriya?" Todoroki says, waking up. "Oh, did I wake you up? Sorry." I say, feeling kinda awkward being in a room alone with him. "No, your ok." Todoroki says. He gets up. I watch him as he makes coffee. He walks back towards me and puts down a cup of coffee. "T-Thanks.." I say. I pick it up, drinking it slowly. "Look, you might not want to, but-" Todoroki says. "Do you mind telling me what happened?" Todroki says. "W-What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine." I says, trying to act happy. "No, no your not." Todoroki says. "You collapsed right infront of me. You look like a mess, and you have bags under your eyes. How could you say that your ok?" Todoroki says, raising his voice a little. I flinch, tears rolling down my eyes. He's reminding me of him. He sits down next to me. He wraps his hands around me. I froze. I didn't know what he was doing. But whatever this was, it felt nice. It felt, familiar..

"Daddy! Daddy! Look!" Izuku says, pointing at the building of UA. "Neat!" says Izuku's dad. "That's wonderful, dear." says Izuku's mother, walking rightbehind his father. "One day, when I'm big and tall, I'm gonna go here! And then, I'm gonna be the number 1 hero, and defeat bad guys!" Izuku yells out, holding up his all might figure. "I'm sure you will." Izuku's dad says, picking him up. "I bet you'll be the best hero you could be." Izuku's father says. HE gives him a hug. "I love you, daddy!" Izuku says. "I love you too, bud.." he says, hugging him tight.

Tears flow my eye's. I remember now. I slowly put my hands around Todoroki. He's so warm. I never want this moment to end. He then let's go. "Please, Midoriya. Tell me what happened." Todoroki says. I hesitate for a second. Oh who am I kidding, he isn't gonna give up asking. He's gonna think your a freak. Do you really want that? I ignore the voice. I nod a 'yes'. I take a small, deep breath before speaking. "M-My.." I say. "It's ok." Todoroki whispers. I take a deep breath. It's unsteady, shaky. "M-My step-father..he" I say, tears rolling down my cheeks. "H-He, he hurts me.." I finally say. "H-Hey, your doing great." Todoroki says. "He doesn't only hurt me, Todo.." I says, tears rolling down faster. "H-He, touches me.." I says. Todoroki looks back at me, quietly. See? What did I tell you. He thinks your a freak. I start to laugh. Small, quiet laughes. "You probably think I'm a freak, huh." I says. "Just another, hopeless, useless nobody." I says, smirking. Todoroki opens his mouth, trying to say something. "It's alright. It's true, your not wrong." I say. "No, that's not-" he says. I put my finger on his lip. I look into his eyes, emotionlessly. "The voice say's otherwise." I say, my voice trembling. I get up, then start walking to the roof. "WAIT!" Todoroki says, running to me. I speed up my pace. I go through the door to the roof. I stand on a bench sitting next to the railing of the roof. It was raining. "MIDORIYA!" Todoroki yells. He pants, trying to catch his breath. "Please, don't.." he says. I stare back at him. "It's not your fault. Your matter, Midoriya. You mean so much to our class. You don't see it, but we care. We really, really do." Todoroki says, his hair getting wet. I stay silent. He doesn't mean any of that. They don't care about you. He's just trying to keep you from killing yourself. Do it. You know you want to. Tears start appearing again. I smile. "You made me happy, and I hope you know that." I say, then I jump. I smile. I feel a tear roll down my cheek. He did make me happy. I hope he does know that. I just can't believe it went so fast. The world is a wonder, isn't it?

A/N:

I tried to write as much as I could. I got 6 shots plus a blood test today, and it hurts like hell. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
