Fall was creeping forward down in a hunting crouch, that filthy rat was not getting away from her today! And yet....it was true that every time she tried to catch that nasty thing, it did get away...'What makes today so special,'  Fall silently questioned herself. 'They're just going to laugh at you again.'  But even if deep down that felt true, perhaps there was some point in trying? Right? Fall couldn't by very sure buut....she sighed. The rat was sniffing at some trash bags, not noticing her yet, thank life!

She had never been good at hunting, better at scavenging in fact, which most cats sneered at, saying that a daughter of Scourge like Fall should be an excellent hunter. Thing was, Fall never met any of other cats expectations. Ha. In they're faces. 'I'm different then most "normal" blood thirsty BloodClan cats,' she thought. Even though Fall despised the fact that deep down she wasn't a blood thirsty monster like she tried to be, she still knew it was true. And that hurt. Fall had stalked closer to the rat, she'd nearly caught it! 'Mange-pelted beast is mine now!'  she shrieked internally, preparing to pounce.

The rat's nose twitched, Fall froze. She was so close...SO CLOSE! Come on...just o n e more s e c o n d! Seriously! One! In the end she lunged at the rat and pinned it down, the rat let out a squeak of fear and snapped at her. Every nerve in her body was alive with excitement, the rat inches from her nose, right under her paws, it's sent filled her mouth and nose, fill with blood, heat, life, her mouth filled with saliva and she trembled slightly from hunger. 'No, don't eat it, prove to them you can catch food for the Clan, not for yourself!' Somehow Fall managed to keep control, even after she had snapped the rat's neck, killing it, and the taste of the freshly killed rat filled her jaws, as she carried it back toward the main camp area.

She snarled under her breath, knowing the rest of BloodClan waited. The guards would have announced her return and her eldest sister, Bella, the leader of BloodClan would know, would wait.

It was no matter, she had a fresh rat to offer, that was enough. Well, she hoped so at least...dragging her paws a bit, as if she had all the time in the world, Fall entered the BloodClan camp, she felt many cats watching her through narrow, disapproving eyes. Eyes that would never approve her...no matter how many fresh rats she brought to the Clan. She sighed knowing that it was not enough after all.
