Chapter 2: The Crime (POV: Fall)

             Fall lifted her nose in the air glaring angrily at the guards that stood around her as she waited for Bella to return. 'Snow?! That's what she left to worry about? What even is snow?!' Fall thought, grumpily. Also, why was Bella taking so long for this "snow"? Why did she have to stand here with these petty guard's?! 'I don't fucking care what this snow is, all I know is I hate it like everything else!'  she thought, angry. 'If I could tell these guards a thing or two...'

             Really, all she wanted was to be able to bath in her success catching that rat. But Bella of course cared more about the fact she snuck out against the rules to do it. Fall scowled. It wasn't fair! Bella got to be leader, Red got to be "gorgeous" and lead of the fighters, Dawn got to be in charge of the hunters. And what did she get? Nothing! All three of them were important and admired, but what about her? What about Fall? Did anyone care? She sighed, sitting down. Life wasn't fair at all. She never had a place anywhere. What was so wrong with catching a rat to impress her sister? With trying to help her Clan? WHAT WAS WRONG WITH LIFE?! That was the real question.

           No matter how hard she tried life liked to slap Fall in the face. Fuck life. Fuck trying. Fall growled, feeling extremely upset at the moment.

           Suddenly Bella returned looking...mournful. Odd for Bella. Her sister had always been tough, a sleek pure black she-cat with cold icy blue eyes, like chips of ice filled with hate burning into one's very soul. Her collar was shiny and black as her pelt, covered in still blood stained teeth from her dead victims. Her claws were razor sharp, and would send terror into the heart of a full grown bear, Fall could swear it was true. Bella was also rather large for a she-cat and she rarely looked anything but grumpy, and hateful. For whatever reason, Fall didn't like it very much. Probably because she wished she could look big and scary to, instead of being small like her father, and gentle looking, like her mother. Grrrrr!

            Whatever, it didn't matter that much anyway, as long as she was grumpy and hateful at heart, right? Who cared. Not her. Totally not at all. Heh. "Fall," Bella snarled. "Hi," Fall replied, making Bella roll her eyes. "Why'd you do that?! Oh, Fall, you stupid, stupid fool! Snowturn is almost here and what do you do?! Sneak out and kill a rat! A rat! A stupid, dumb rat no one needs or cares about! What if you had died? What would I have done then! Stupid and foolish! So stupid and foolish! Your nothing but a kit still at mind and at heart! Hardly old enough to be anything more, anyway. Just hardly." Bella shook her head and sighed. "Ever sense Scourge died I've had to try ten times hard then he ever did as leader, and your not helping, Fall! Your doing just the opposite in fact, what ever help or whatever you meant to give, it did everything but help." Fall couldn't believe Bella was telling her off! A kit? Her? No way! Never! "I was only trying to impress you!" Fall yelled. Bella shook her head. "I'm not even impressed that your such an expert idiot, Fall," she said flatly. "EXCUSE ME?!" Fall screamed, "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU JUST CALL ME?" Bella snorted. "An expert idiot." Fall glared at her in pure shock. Her own sister thought she was an idiot? What was wrong with her!?

            Bella sighed. "Now...your punishment." Fall didn't even want to speak. "You will be cleaning out every cat's bedding and doing they're bidding like a lowly servant, no slave for the next moon. And for the next 6 moons you are confined to camp. You're lucky it's not worse." Fall stared at her. "Worse?" she asked flatly. "Worse?! Lucky?! Me?! What the fuck is wrong with you Bella? You, Red, and Dawn will always be the lucky one's!"

          "You have no idea how lucky you are Fall-"

           "How could ever be lucky?! Your the one who's leader!" 

            "You call being leader luck?" Bella snorted. "You have even less of an idea of luck than I thought."
