Even though the rabbit ran away far
from home,
her father was still in habit.
No matter how far the rabbit went,
he still didn't love her,
she had hoped
the stunt would
wake him up.
intoxicated by both,
love and alcohol.
the rabbits father
continued to forget.
and never sobered.
even though the rabbit knows he is just drunk
her issue and pain remains,
no matter the distance between it.
