I look at the clock and see that it's finally time to go pick up Paisley finally. I was so excited for tonight, I was going to propose to her. I had to i couldn't wait anymore i was going crazy without her. And now we have Floyd so i know she'll say yes, we'll be a cute little family and soon i'll put another baby in her.

Hopefully we'll have a girl next and then we'd have our perfect little family.

When i get in the car i start speeding, not on purpose but these hours without her have felt like years again and i can't help but get antsy.

Last time she was out of my sight i didn't see her for almost 4 years.

I reach her house in pretty good time and i knock on the door, i get vivid flashbacks and i can't help but hope that her mother doesn't open the door. Even if Paisley isn't 17 anymore i doubt she'll be happy to see me and to find out that her daughter and i are back together. I think we're back together at least, fuck technically we never even broke up. The door opens suddenly and i am faced with an older woman with Floyd in her arms, He immediately screeches "Daddy!" And tries to fling himself out of her arms to me.

She doesn't let him fly out but she does hand him to me and i hug him tightly "Hey buddy." I say giving him a kiss and patting his back.

"Where's mama?" I ask him, but the woman answers "On her way."

I look up at her giving her my attention. Since Paisley's mother doesn't like me i guess i could at least try and get her grandmother to. "Hi Mrs. Henley I'm Maverick Amato I... uh... I'm your grand daughters boyfriend." I wince at how scared i sound, after her mother i am officially scared of the women in the Henley family.

"Well son you certainly make lovely children." She says with a soft smile putting her hand on the back of Floyd's head with a smile. I smile at her thankful that she's nicer than her daughter, i wonder what went wrong.

Paisley comes running down the stairs in a cute little yellow skirt with flowers and a yellow top. She sees me at the door with Floyd and her grandmother and she walks towards us with a bright smile, Floyd brightens when he sees her and makes grabby hands at her making her laugh.

"Hi baby!" She says kissing Floyd on his cheek. I pull them closer to me so my arm is around Paisley and Floyd is squished between us. "You look so beautiful Princess." I tell her kissing her neck.

"Doesn't mama look pretty?" I ask Floyd and he nods, "Mama's sooooo pretty." He agrees with me.

She rolls her eyes and blushes, "Thank you boys." She kisses me and then Floyd on the cheek before she gives Floyd to her grandmother and tells him she'll be back later.

As soon as the door closes behind her I have her pinned against it with my mouth on hers in a slow kiss trying to put all of my emotions into it. When I pull away she smiles shyly at me "What was that for?" She asks.

"I haven't properly kissed you in too long." I shrug lacing our fingers together and pulling her towards my car.

"I have decided where i want our date to be!" She says excitedly hopping in the car when i open the door for her, i run to the other side and get in starting the car. "Okay where are we going?" I ask her curious as to what she came up with.

"I want to go to the cafe!" She says practically jumping in her seat.

I smile at her and start to drive knowing exactly which cafe she was talking about.

We walked into the cafe and She ordered a donut, i of course ordered a coffee and I ordered a cookie because i could see she couldn't decide which treat she wanted.
We sit down at a window seat with our stuff and i take a sip of my scalding hot coffee. Paisley takes a bite of her donut and hums to herself in delight.
