I don't see Paisley for almost a week before i get the balls to ask her if she would like to meet again. We have been texting practically 24/7 all week, it's been absolutely amazing.

Paisley is just how i imagined she would be only better. So so much better. Perhaps it is because i only ever saw her from afar but god i swear that day i saw her she looked 10x more stunning than the last time i saw her. Which i thought was impossible.

We decided to meet at the same coffee shop as last time around 4:30pm and i could hardly wait. I was driving there right now and i suddenly got nervous i was going to be late, i drive a bit faster and when i get to the shop and look at the time i still have like 10 minutes until we are supposed to meet.

I look through my car window into the coffee shop window not seeing Paisley in there yet i stay in my car for a second taking a deep breath.

"You got this Maverick. Don't say anything too fucked." I tell myself quietly before shoving open my door and going in the shop. I order my coffee and sit down, i practically chug it because of how nervous i am and i chuck it in the trash before Paisley even gets here. A few seconds after i threw my coffee out she walks through the doors and my heart skips a beat at the big smile on her face that is directed to me.

I stand up to greet her and she runs into my chest hugging me. I am shocked for a second but before she can pull away i quickly hug her back just as enthusiastically.

"Hi Mav." She mumbles into my chest, "Hi sweetheart." I mumble into her shoulder before letting go.

"How was your day?" I ask her, she pouts and shakes her head "Not that good today, but at least i get to see you!" She says smiling at the end, i grin at her

"How about you?" She asks me, i think for a second.

"I guess it was alright but this is by far the best part of my day." I tell her unashamedly, she blushes quickly changing the subject.

"Want to go to the park?" She asks me, i nod at her asking if she wants anything from the shop before we leave. She nods excitedly and we go to the counter she orders a muffin and i order another black coffee. I quickly pay and hand her the muffin and she takes it with a pout, wile we're walking away i ask why.

"You didn't have to pay for me." She grumbles and i can't help but laugh wrapping my arm around as we walk and hugging her to me.

"Get used to it sweetheart." I say with a satisfied smile, i will be buying her everything from now on so she better get used to it.

She quickly goes up on her tippy toes and kisses my jaw since she can't reach my cheek and gives me a proper hug mumbling a thank you to me. Honestly i didn't understand why this was such a big deal, this is like the bare minimum i thought. I used to be worried that i would be a terrible boyfriend but if her standards are that low that she can't comprehend this than i might be golden.

"It's really nothing princess, c'mon we're almost there." I tell her when she pulls away, we walk into the park.

"Why's it so empty?" She asks me looking around the park. I look up at the sky and see the grey clouds, i remember it said on the radio a chance of thunder storms.

"I think it might rain soon." I tell her pointing up at the storm clouds and she frowns.

"That sucks." She says looking sad, until she sees the willow tree and then a grin forms on her face. She runs into the tree and sits down on the grass. I walk towards her and just look at her serene face, this truly
is her favourite place in the whole world. I sit down next to her and she immediately starts telling me about a book she read recently, thankfully it is a book i had to read in grade nine english so i understood what she was talking about. Hearing her talk was honestly my favourite thing in the entire world and she only seemed to it so freely under this tree, as if the long draping branches were hiding us from the rest of the world. I liked that.

We talk about the book for what feels like ten minutes but was probably an hour, it started raining a while ago but the tree covered us pretty well. We weren't we at all but pretty much everything around us was.

Eventually the park starts getting dark because of the rain and the time, i offer her a ride home and she takes it telling me about her irrational fear of walking home at night because sometimes she feels as if someone is watching her.

I can't help but wince when she says that but she doesn't seem to notice so that's good. By the time we get to my car we're absolutely soaked and shivering, i gave Paisley my sweater when we were still under the tree but by now even it's probably soaked through.

I open the door for her and she jumps in, i run to the other side and slide into the driver seat. I look over at her and after a second she bursts out laughing making me laugh with her.

We drive to her house and i park right before it, i look at her trying to enjoy these last few moments with her when i notice she hasn't moved yet, i don't say anything happy to have these moments.

"Would you like to come in?" She asks me, i don't answer for a second out if shock "I-I can put your clothes in the dryer, i'd feel really bad if you git a cold because of my dumb idea to go to the park when the weather said down poor..." She justifies nervously, i pause agin unsure, i know her mother isn't home because her car would be in the driveway.

"Yeah sure." I say trying not to sound too excited. We both get out if the car and have to run to her front porch she quickly unlocks the house and we jump in ready for the warn air.

We take our shoes off and she tells me to wait there for a second, i do and she comes back quickly handing me a towel and some mens clothes. Must be some stuff her father left here.

"Thank you." i smile at her, she blushes and mumbles a small your welcome.

"Um you can change in my bathroom, follow me." She says turning around and walking up the stairs i follow her to her bed room and go in the bathroom to change.

I close the door and change as quickly as i can not even really drying off just wanting to be with Paisley again, i swing open the door and see Paisley with her ass up trying to take off her wet jeans. She heard me come back in the room and she squeaks.

"S-Sorry!" I say covering my eyes. I definitely did it too late, i saw everything and based off the blush that is on her cheeks she knows that too.

I close the bathroom door and knock my head against it waiting for her to knock and tell me she's ready. For now i'm going to have to try and erase that image from my mind so i don't get a raging boner.
