The Boys take A Risk

"Touya-"

Touya picked up Tenko and carried him inside. "Relax, the boss isn't in right now and I need you for something."

"But Zuzu is-"

"Zuzu is fine! He's selling that necklace he took weeks ago. Maybe we'll have enough to go see Kamitani."

All of Tenko's struggle died down immediately and a drowsy look filled his face as he thought of one of his favorite fictional characters. "You sure?"

Touya set Tenko down in front of a safe. "One hundred percent sure! Kamitani is mere moments away!"

Tenko mindlessly set his hand on the wires locking the safe, his mind busy drawing hearts around Kamitani's face.

Touya gently lifted Tenko's hand and set it on the man's side before cracking open the vault. "Come to papa," he whispered, shoving the contents of the safe into his duffel bag. "Come on, Tenko, Kamitani is waiting for you."

The light blue-haired man followed Touya out of the facility without saying a word, the sooner they got out of there, the sooner he could get an autograph from his favorite-

"W-who's there?"

Tenko's feet froze on the ground. Touya nearly dislocated his own shoulder from the sudden stop. "What's the big deal?" He stepped back to see what Tenko was staring at. "Ah...." The scarred man hummed slowly. A small girl was chained to a chair. "Poor lassy, go untie her, Tenk." Touya turned his head after he got no response. "Tenk?" The man was frozen. Touya's smile sunk before springing up. "I see, poor little brother can't do it. Guess I'll have to." He stepped toward the small child carefully. Tenko watched the familiar scene from the back.

"Heyya kiddo, we're not gonna hurt cha." Touya stepped carefully toward the child and stepped into a crouched stance. "Us big brothers are here to help you. You're hurtin', aren't you?"

The girl nodded her head. "I-it hurts....a lot......"

Touya nodded his head and continued to take smaller and closer steps. "We can get you out of there and get you somewhere safe, but I have to get real close, okay?"

The girl hesitated before nodding.

Touya edged closer and motioned for Tenko to help him. Tenko headed straight for the metal shackles and carefully disintegrated the restraints. "I'm Tomura, what's your name?" His quirk was scary, he could tell from the girl's face that she was afraid.

"E-Eri."

Touya noticed what Tenko was doing and took over while Tenko undid everything. "Eri's a nice name, I'm Dabi. Do you want to have a nice family?"

The girl blinked. "A-are you going-g to become m-my famil-ly?"

Touya and Tenko froze for a moment. Tenko sent an unsure glance toward Touya. Could they afford to endanger another life?

"No," Touya said steadily. "We're not, it's too dangerous to be with us....we're bad people." Touya winked at her. "But we can get you to a place where you'll be safe from any bad guys. And if you do get in trouble." Touya stood up as Tenko lifted the child away from the metal bed. "We'll come to rescue you again."

The girl clutched her tiny hand around the top of Tenko's shirt. "Promise?"

Tenko patted her head. "Promise."

"Real fucking smart," Tenko hissed at Touya.

The man dodged a furious capture weapon before giving Tenko a small smile. "I didn't fucking know he'd be home!"

"Cockatoo at four o'clock!"

Touya and Tenko heeded Izuku's warning and ran in the opposite direction.

"Don't chase my big brothers!" Eri moved out of the box she was hiding in and stood in front of the two pro heroes. "Leave them alone!"

"No!" Tenko moved to turn around and grab Eri before Izuku pulled him back. "Hurry!"

Izuku tossed Tenko to Touya and jumped onto the nearest ladder. "Quickly, we'll come back for her later!"

Tenko stared at Eri and the pros as he was dragged up the ladder. Touya had a regretful look on his face, his lip dripping blood.

"Brothers!" Eri shouted, reaching out for them, a hurt look covering her face. "You promised!"

"We're sorry!" Izuku shouted to her.

"Cowards," Eraserhead snarled. He picked Eri up off of the ground and wrapped her into a hug. "Mic, come here."

Present Mic looked back and forth between the running men and the crying girl before walking toward Eraserhead. "Poor thing, it's okay, we're here now."

The two began to walk away and over Eraserhead's shoulder, Eri saw Izuku give her a thumbs up.

"Thank god it worked," Tenko said, flopping onto the couch.

Izuku handed him a glass of apple juice. "That plan was so idiotically preformed it actually worked."

Touya held up a smirking head from his position on the floor. "What else would work?"

Tenko grimaced and punched Touya's head. "Fake abandonment? That couldn't have been the only option."

"Well, it worked," Touya argued, rubbing his head. "We pretended to have to leave her while busting into his place and it worked. He now has Eri."

Izuku grabbed his own glass and sat next to Tenko. "Yeah, but if Eri forgets to explain to him what actually happened, we'll have another hero after our asses."

"I wouldn't mind taking a beating from-"

"ENOUGH!" Tenko yelled, slamming his boot into Touya's face.

"What a small child," Tenko remarked, staring at the small boy sleeping in the box. "He can't be much younger than us." Tenko looked up to his big brother, who was staring at the child too.

"Well," Touya said, putting a smile on his face. "Since I'm the big brother, guess I'll have to do it."

Tenko watched Touya step toward the small alley and gently tap the child's forehead. The small boy awoke in a start and jumped back.

"It's okay," Touya said slowly. "We're not gonna hurt you." He pointed to Tenko and back to himself. "We're going to be your big brothers."

The child looked up at them from the back of the box. "Big...brothers?"

"Yup!" Touya gave the boy a toothy grin. "We're gonna be your family! If...you want us to be."

The boy jumped out from the box and wrapped Touya in a hug. "You'll really be my family?"

Tenko watched Touya ruffle the boy's hair. "Mhm! This family sticks together."

Touya put his hand behind his back and motioned for Tenko to walk forward. The blue-haired boy looked at the child wrapped in Touya's arms and smiled. "Hi, I'm Tenko."

"Shoot! I forgot names!" Touya made an exaggerated face and cast his head to the side before turning and looking at the new kid. "I'm Touya!"

The boy looked back and forth between them before smiling. "I'm Izuku!"
