Part 12: Something Has Changed

Bill's POV
After my confrontation with Draco I go sit back with the others. "What was that all about?" Harry asks. "I think Draco did something to Y/n.." I answer. "Like what?" Ginny asks. "I.. I have no answer yet but just a second ago she was confessing her love for me and the next I'm just a friend? It doesn't make sense!" I reply. "Bill is right.. that is a bit strange." Hermione chimes. "Well are we going to do something about it or not?" Fred gives a sneaky smile.

(Draco's POV)
It was a risk erasing y/n's memories so quickly , but I couldn't loose her. She makes me a better person and I've never felt so strongly for someone. We went up to her room and we fell asleep for a few hours. I woke up before she did and decided to make sure there was no trace of Bill anywhere that can gain her memories back. I found her bag of letters from Bill and stuffed them in my bag. I looked around a bit longer but nothing seemed to be left besides the letters. I looked in her closet through boxes and boxes when I finally found a present from Bill. It was a gorgeous blue dress with a set of white heels were in the box. It was a beautiful gift and I knew I had to step it up. I held the box and grabbed my bag. It was time for shopping.

(Your POV)
You finally woke up and Draco was gone. A few of your things were out of place but you didn't think much of it. I got myself fixed up and decided to head to the common room. You get downstairs and see Hermione and Ginny at a desk studying, Ron and Harry with Dean and Seamus and the twins were with Bill on the couches. You grab one of your books and join George on one of the couches. "Hey boys what are you all up to?" You ask opening your spell book. "Just showing Bill all that's changed around here!" Fred chimes. "Including you y/n."George teases and you roll your eyes. "I haven't changed that much." You say beginning to play with your necklace. "Where's the necklace I gave you?" Bill asks and you look up to him. "What necklace?" "The one with the promise ring I gave you." He replies. "I don't remember you ever giving me a necklace Bill.. I'm sorry." Bill looks down. You continue reading for about a half hour until Draco walks in. He has a few gift boxes. Bill and the twins immediately get quiet. "Sorry I left before you could wake up darling. I had to go get some things." He shoots a sly smile to Bill and walks over to you. "I got you some gifts." He sets the boxes next to you. "You shouldn't have. Have you seen my closet it's full!" He smiles "it's not just clothes my love. Just open." You take one of the boxes and open it to reveal a pair of designed tights paired with a mid sleeved tan short dress with a nice cape like cover up. In another box there was a pair of black flats to go along with the dress. In the last box you pulled out a pearl necklace with matching earrings. Draco then pulls out a small box with a emerald gemmed ring inside. "Draco what is this?" You ask. "It's a promise ring. I thought you should have one." Bill grows furious. "Bloody hell Malfoy you just had to didn't you?!" "Bill what's your problem?!" You snap. "Y/n. He erased your memories why can't you see that!" Bill replies. "I did nothing of the sort! Darling, he's trying to turn you against me. " Draco grabs your hands. "Bill.. Draco would never do that to me.. what could he possibly erase that's worth anything?" You say. "Your love for me.. y/n we used to be so in love and you never stopped. When Draco found that out he erased your memories of us." "Bill we are nothing but friends.. almost family! We never had any love.. I'm sorry you must be mistaken" you say softly. Bill stays quiet for a bit and then he walks out of the common room with Fred and George following. "Come on. I'll help you take your things upstairs." Draco picks up your bags and you two go up to your room.

After Draco leaves you can't help but feel like a part of you is missing and you just don't know what it is.

The next morning you met Draco in his dorm. Pansy and Blaise are inside chatting with Draco. "Oh hey everyone." You smile and Draco grabs your hand. "We were talking Y/n and we think we should have a double date." Pansy smiles sweetly. "It could be a good time to use your new gifts." Draco kisses your cheek. "Yeah sure that sounds great!" "Well Draco and I will handle the plans you ladies just be ready at 8." Blaise chimes. "Now we should get to class." Draco says and you all head to your classes.

After your classes you go up to you dorm to get ready for your double date. You throw on the dress and jewelry and you straighten your hair. You add a nice headband that matches your outfit. As you are doing your final touches of makeup and hair there was a knock at the door. You go to open it to see. Bill. "What are you doing here?" You ask. "Do you still have my letters?" He asks. "What letters Bill? You aren't making any sense nothing is adding up!" He sighs "If by any chance you are a-little bit curious why nothing's adding up. If you end up at Draco's tonight just look around.. I'd never lie to Y/n." He looks at you. "Fine.. I'll see what I can do but I won't find anything." You say and Bill just nods "thank you y/n." He strokes your face. There is another knock at the door and Draco walks in. "Ah Weasel B what are you doing here?" Draco teases. "I was just leaving." Bill says before walking out. "Ready darling?" You just nod.
