Lazarus Experiment part 1

        It was so much fun traveling with Martha. To bad we had to leave her. The Doctor was a stubborn man as everyone knows. I listened to the whirling of the Tardis as we landed. I let Martha and the doctor talk. Then I came out and gave Martha a great big hug. She hugged me back. "I'm going to miss you so much." I say to her. She nods in agreement. "Some people just can't change his mind."I nudge my head towards the Doctor.

                                                                        Doctor's POV

        Seeing her so upset kinda made me want to change my mind. If I just let her stay though she might be mad I scared her like that. Maybe if something happened to make her stay longer. Just then we heard the answering machine on a phone. "I'm sorry" Martha says quickly. "Martha, are you there? Pick it up, will you?" "It's Mum. It'll wait." We waited for a second as Martha's mother kept talking.

        "All right then, pretend that you're out if you like. I was only calling to say that your sister's on TV. On the news of all things. Just thought you might be interested." With that the voice mail ends and Martha rushes to turn on the tv.

        "The details are top secret-" The old man on the TV starts. "How could Tish end up on the news?" Martha asks to no one in particular. "Tonight, I will demonstrate a device which will redefine our world." "With the push of a single button, I will change what it means to be human." My curiosity sparked.

        After a few more goodbyes I went into the Tardis with Lanie. I started the Tardis up. I look over to her and take her by the waist and put her against the console. "Lazarus."She says to me and I sigh and go back to Martha's house.

        I got ready in the Tardis wardrobe. Martha helped me pick out a beautiful dress. I put it on with some white converse and black socks. I came down to where Martha and the Doctor were talking. "Hey should we go now. I ask them.

        They both turn to me wide eyed. The Doctor did an impression of a fish and Martha came up to me aswe started walking toward Lazurus Laboratories. "You coming!" I called back as Martha giggled. He caught up quickly and took me by the waist. "Oh, black tie. Whenever I wear this, something bad always happens." "It's not the outfit, that's just you. Anyway, I think it suits you. In a James Bond kind of way. " Martha says to him catching her breath from laughter.

        "James Bond? Really?" He asks with a smirk as we enter Lazarus Laboratories. The Doctor walks away for a second saying. "Oh, look, they've got nibbles! I love nibbles." The Doctor popped one into his mouth coming back to my side. He popped one in my mouth when I was about to speak.

        I just giggled and kissed him on the cheek. The Doctor and I were not paying attention to anyone else as he nuzzled my temples. "Leo in black tie? That I must see. This is, er, the Doctor, and his girlfriend, Lanie" The Doctor didn'tnoticethem so I nudged him. "Oh, er, Hi."He says quickly.

        Francise and Leo enter the room and come over to Martha as they speak.  "Your father's caused me enough heartache already with his menopause and his trophy girlfriend.""Yeah, Mum, I know. It's just something he said last night." Martha is spotted by Francise."Martha." "Mum!" She runs over to her mom and engulfs her in a big hug. "All right, what's the occasion?"

        "What do you mean? I'm just pleased to see you, that's all." She says to her mother happily. "You saw me last night." " I know. I just miss you. You're looking good, Leo." She says turning to the man. "Yeah. If anyone asks me to fetch them a drink, I'll swing for him." His mother hit him on the arm jokingly.

        "You disappeared last night." Francine says worriedly to her daughter. "I just went home." Martha says content."On your own?" She asks looking over to The Doctor and Me. "This is a friend of mine, Lanie, and the Doctor." She says to her mom. "Doctor, what?" She asks him as they shake hands."No, it's just the Doctor. We've been doing some work together."

               "It's lovely to meet you, Mrs Jones. Heard a lot about you." I say to her shaking hands." "Have you? What have you heard, then?" I smile at her brightly. "Good things, all nice things." We watch as Lazarus does the experiment. I save him from the impending doom of a blender.

        " It can't be the same guy. It's impossible. It must be a trick." Martha says not believing what happened at all. "Oh, it's not a trick. I wish it were." The Doctor says sadly. "He just changed what it means to be human." He looks at me and keeps me close. I decide to go to the bathroom and meet up with Doctor later.

        I see Lady Thaw and Lazarus going upstairs and decide to follow them. There is no harm I thought.
         "It's me who made this all possible. This is my triumph, and I will not be denied, not by you, not after everything I've done." She says angrily to Lazarus. "You backed me because you saw a profit. Your concern was financial."

        "Well, you want the money as much as I do. We had a plan." Lazarus starts to look ill so I go to the Doctor or at least search for him. Once I got downstairs I felt my brothers voice slipping into my head. "Sister dear. Come outside. I don't want you to be in there, something bad will happen." Once I hear that my face grows in horror as I go upstairs as fast as I can.

        Once I get there I see what is left of Lady Thaw. I fell to my knees next to her. "I'm so sorry" I say. If I just didn't leave. Just then I feel the presence of my brother. I tun to look at the Master and I run up to him and hug him. He hugs me back tightly.

        "We need to get you out of here." He says cupping my face. Just then the Doctor comes in on this rather awkward looking sitiuation.The Doctor tugs me away from him eyes full of rage.Oh no. I thought as I watched them stare eachother down.
