I woke up to the sound of someone leaving the room. All I could remember from the night before was the massive food fight we had and how we didn't even wash it off. So when I got up, I noticed there was something sticky and white in my hair, probably whipped cream. There was tomato sauce on my shirt and arms and mozzarella cheese on my shorts.
After straightening myself out, I heard the door open and someone screaming. It was Michelle's mom. She and her new husband had just come back from their honeymoon. We all rushed out the door and ran down the street as soon as she threatened to call the police.
I ran for about three more blocks until I reached my house. My parents and siblings were both looking at me with a shocked look.
"Don't worry. I'm going to shower," I said as I walked past them and up the stairs.
"Just don't get the house dirty with food, Han," my mom called.
After I showered, I didn't have much time, so I quickly got dressed and decided to eat at the canteen.

"Hey, guys, how's everything going?" I said as I brought my food tray to the table where Chris, Maxxie, Anwar, and Kenneth were, remembering to hug Chris.
"Good. Man, that party was fucking A-plus. Minus me having to run out with no clothes on," Chris said as he dug into his food savagely.
"Cannot believe Michelle got the dates wrong," I scoffed as I bit into one of my chips, "This all could've been prevented if she just used her brain, which seems impossible for her."
"Ouch!" Maxxie said, giggling.
"MWAH!" I heard Chris say. I turned my head to see Sid with a lipstick stain on his forehead. The red tint looked the same shade as the one Cassie usually wore. Cassie?
"Kiss me, you fool!" Anwar teased him. We were all laughing. But then Kenneth went and took the joke too far as usual. Sid walked away, mildly confused.
"What's with the frequency, Kenneth?" Chris said.
"Sorry. Got a bit carried away there," Kenneth said.
"Really? What gave it away?" I said sarcastically, causing everyone to start laughing at Kenneth.
"Oh, do stop it! It's not funny," he looked over at me.
We all calmed down and resumed eating and talking. After a few minutes, I heard Tony grunt. He turned towards us, only to see a wet stain on his pants. We all burst into fits of laughter once more.
"Wow, Tony. It looks like you're still not potty trained," I laughed as Chris and Maxxie high-fived me.
"Fuck you, Hannah!" Tony was beyond pissed at this point. And to make matters worse, Kenneth took the joke too far once again. Tony sucker-punched Kenneth right in the face, knocking him to the ground which caused him to start crying.
"You can't lie, Kenneth. You had that one coming," I said. Chris nodded in agreement as Tony and Sid left the canteen.
"I'm going after them," Chris said, "Watch Kenneth."
I waited for them to leave before saying, "Sorry Kenneth, but I'm not going to babysit you. Go get an ice pack for your face."
I got up from the table, put my tray away, and walked into the hallway, only to see Tony come out of the staff stalls.
"Tone, what were you doing in there? Trying to see if you can walk in on Tom jacking off?" I said.
"No," he chuckled, "I just went in there because I felt like it-"
Just then, Sid came out and started rambling, "I mean, what if he comes here and cuts my bollocks off? Ball by ball?"
"Who?" I said, confused.
"Sid's drug dealer. We lost the three ounces of dope in the harbor and he doesn't have the money to pay him back," Tony said.
"Well, how much money do you owe him?" I asked.
"300 quid," Sid sighed.
My jaw dropped, "Oh shit. Well, Tony, you're smart enough. You'll figure something out. Right?" I said, "Look, I gotta get to class. If I think of a way to help you through the deep shit you're in, I'll let you know."
"Ok. Bye, Hannah," Sid said.
"Bye, babe," Tony said.
I turned my head in shock as he smirked and cocked his eyebrow at me. Babe? Did he really just call me that?
