When I woke up this morning Dean has breakfast spread out across the kitchen counter. It all smelled amazing the moment I stepped into the kitchen. "Good morning." He greeted me while I stepped into the room. Looking around I noticed it's just him in here. I'm guessing the others aren't up yet.

"Good morning," I replied back. "Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Sam is getting dressed, Cas left, and Jack is still asleep." He told me and I nodded as I grabbed a piece of bacon off the plate. It tasted absolutely amazing and really greasy. Dean grabbed his plate and sat down at the table before devouring his food. I joined him with a plate of food myself.

"I was thinking and I would like to help out around here. I feel bad having you guys make me all this food and letting me stay here for free. At least let me help out." I begged and he shook his head no at me.

"You're a guest," he said, his mouth full of eggs. I playfully rolled my eyes at him and smiled.

"Well too bad because I am. In fact, I'm going grocery shopping after breakfast if you'd like to join me." I informed him. Before he could protest that I continued. "Not another word," I smirked. He narrowed his eyes at me but eventually agreed and said he would drive.

Sam finally walked into the room to join us for breakfast. Only he didn't eat what Dean made. He made himself a bowl of cereal. "We're going grocery shopping after breakfast, wanna go?" I asked.

"Yes because if you let Dean do the shopping there won't be any food involved just pie and beer." He said making me laugh. Dean glared at both of us but I can't help that what Sam said was so funny. Later at the store, I grabbed a basket and began shopping for some of the necessities like milk, bread, eggs, and whatnot.

I'm glad that I'm making money to do these things. The school I go to is actually quite amazing. I get paid $100 every week for attending a certain class. It's a class that teaches you how to manage money for your future. It's actually really helpful.

A smile formed on my face with an idea. I'm going to buy the things I need to make a homemade apple pie for Dean. My aunt taught me how when I was twelve. She said it's an old family recipe and not to tell another soul how to make it. It's actually really good but I'm probably not going to make it as good as she did.

Later after getting home we put everything away then I started making the pie. I made Dean promise me he would stay out of the kitchen while I prepared a surprise for him and the others. The moment I took it out of the oven it's like Dean smelt it and came into the kitchen. "You've got a strong nose," I smirked while stifling a laugh.

"It's pie," he said in a duh voice while approaching the newly made pie. He grabbed a fork and tasted it. I'm hoping it's good even if it doesn't taste half as good as my aunts. His eyes widened and he went in for seconds. "This is amazing, what's in this?" He asked, his mouth full of pie.

"Family recipe," I said.

"You know what would make this better?" He asked me as he went over to the fridge. I frowned and shook my head no as he pulled a beer out. "This." He smiled. I rolled my eyes and watched as he took a drink. "Well thank you for this, it's amazing." He said and I nodded.

"You've got something in your hair by the way. It looks like a..." he stopped talking as he grabbed whatever it is out of my hair. It's an apple peel from the apples I cut up. How the hell did that get there? "An apple." He smiled.

"Thanks," I said as he looked at me with a small smile on his face. The room filled with silence as we stared into each other's eyes. I've never really noticed before but his eyes are beautiful. They're so, so, green. He stepped scarily close to me. Our faces were only inches apart. Is this about to lead to what I think it is?

He reached his hand up and hesitantly cupped my cheek in his large strong hand. I leaned in closer to him, his lips brushed against mine. Before we could even kiss Sam walked into the room causing us to pull away from each other. I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and cleared my throat.

"We've got a case. Leaving in ten." He informed us. He had a look of suspicion on his face before exiting the room to get ready.

"Looks like we got to go." I smiled shyly before heading to my room to pack up. Once closing the door behind me I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I cannot believe we almost kissed. That I almost kissed Dean Winchester. What was I even thinking? I'm only a seventeen-year-old girl and he's...well I don't actually know how old he is.

I ran my fingers through my hair before sighing and packing up my bag for this hunt. That can never happen again no matter how much I want it to. No matter how attractive Dean is.

Once the five of us got piled up into the impala we left and headed to Montana. It's the same hunt that Dean and Jack thought were zombies. I can't wait to prove them wrong when it turns out to be a salt and burn. Sam and Dean sat up front while Castiel, Jack, and I sat quietly in the back seat.

I felt eyes on me and looked to see Dean staring at me through the rearview mirror. Once he saw that I caught him staring he looked away and back at the road. I closed my eyes before looking out my window. It's going to be a long drive that I'm really not ready for. I can't let myself get in the way of this hunt.
