it has only been 15 minutes ever since he enters HDWM, yet the flames on his foreheads already flickering like the last fire of candle.

Being in that state, allegedly he couldn't feel any kind of discomfort very well since it enhanced his pain tolerance by far. With adrenaline running in his system, he was supposedly dealing with these annoying box weapons no problem. Yet here he is, breath ragged with black spots starting to invades his sightings.

Jump to the left. DUCK!

He dodged the hissing snake before kicking it to the side, strong enough that it was sent flying. Not yet finding his footing back, racoons latched on his back, clawing him.

Biting his tongue not to scream, Tsuna regrets the action since all he did is making it bleed. "Tch!"  Making a quick spin, he blasted the mammals away from him.

Leap backwards. Launch forwards.

He took the given opportunity to attack the giant crab first before it can do any harm to him. A claw was about to cut his neck clean had it not for his roaring intuition telling him to crouch.

'What a close call' He clicked his tongue again. He's no where near done.

Knowing his sadistic home-tutor,  This might last the whole day, or if he's being generous, until lunch time, which if his sense of time isn't wrong, then he still have to fight for at least two more hours give or take.

two full hours. Which means, one hundred and twenty minutes. Which means, seven thousands and two hundreds seconds. And so far, every new animal box species, solo or in a pack, would appear every next 10 seconds. That's not including the ones that came in form of waves.

"Fuck. This. Shit." He grumbles, voice shook as well as his feet. But he's not yet down. Bruised all over, but he's not yet tumbling over completely.

He has refrain himself for using any reckless moves as well X-Burners kind of attack, but really, there just seemed to be no end of this.

Tilting his head, barely avoiding a giant praying mantis and its sword like forearms, he jumped forward to kick it right on its head, sending it away before the insect burst into flames of green. Sighing for a bit, he take a second to catch his breath before a beak found its way almost stabbing his heart.

'I can't lose. I can't lose. I can't lose' He chanted in his head as he saw another packs of wolves and packs of crows coming for him at the same time.

Despite his slow response, he was getting ready to fight back when a tiger pounced on him from behind.

"ACK!!"

'Goddamnit, where did it came from?!??' He thought in pain as his body shook vigorously trying to move under the pressure. Both metaphorically and physically.

Howls and squeaks could be heard and quite frankly, Tsuna closed his eyes knowing that he can't do anything more now.

'will this really be my end...? It's not even from an actual ambush.' He ponders bitterly, 'well, I guess... Verde is an arcobaleno for a reason'

Expecting another pain to strike, he tried to control his spiking flames to at least make him temporarily numb.

Yet it seemed like that's not quite necessary.

Howls and squeaks could be heard... in pain? And then there's a voice.

"Omnivore"

only knowing one person who'd call people that way, Tsuna cracked a tired eye. Black, Purple, and Indigo came in a blur. "Ah, you two..." he muttered. Only then he realized that the weight on his back has disappear, and instead he's slowly being lifted up by a pair of strong arms.

"Ototou, hang in there, okay? I'll fix you"

That gruff voice.

"Onii-san..." He couldn't really tell if the white he's seeing is the older's hair or was it a sign of him about to pass out. Coughing a bit, he then felt sun flames creeping in, giving a sense of warmth to his freezing body.

"Thanks guys" he smiled at the three highschoolers.

"Kufufufu, I thought you said you don't fancy collecting scars, Tsunayoshi?" The illusionist mused despite still fighting a raging Hippo.

"Well" he hissed, "Do I look like I have other choice?" but a snicker soon present on his face.

"Where's that baby?" Kyoya said as soon he knocked out the Ferocious Tiger.

"Italy" Tsuna said. "These are Verde's" he shortly explained.

The two stared, "Why can't you finish them off then?"

"Fever." Ryohei reported grimly while Tsuna just let out a breathless chuckle. "Maa. Like I said, I don't have other choice."

"Herbivore"

"I know." Tsuna cheekily retorted, knowing there's no denying his action. But before anything else, his worn out eyes catched a glimpse of rainbow blurs coming close. "It's not over" He grit his teeth about to get back on his feet though stopped by his sun guardian. The incoming attack has tripled in quantity it seemed.

"Stay put" Ryohei instructed as he laid the brunet down. The silver haired boxerman was left with no option but stand up as well, taking part to defend their fallen sky.

Seeing how the three are soon heavily occupied, Tsuna figured that it will be his only chance.

He's retreating.

Reborn would have kicked him on the gut from such action. But to his defense, Tsuna doesn't want to bother anyone any further. If he could go back to his house and actually get some rest before he can completely slipped off HDWM, then it would be enough.

The flame on his forehead already extinguished, he's barely holding onto himself.

He believed in his guardians that they would hold back the Box weapons for him. And besides, he has a feeling that Kyoya did catch a glimpse of him leaving.

He'll get scolding from his friends, the skylark would bite him to death, and some yelling is very well expected. he knows.

For now, though, he need to focus on not collapsing on the road. Which is hard enough with the aching limbs where in addition to that, he's slowly losing grip of his senses.

He tried to walk faster, as fast as he can go, yet lady luck seems to hate him today. He actually run out of time.

'.....shit '

And with that, his flames died out completely as his body fall to the ground in a less grace of a ragged doll.
