London, Victoria, Victoria's Harbour port, 5:50pm
The wind blew lightly over the night, purplish red colour clouds painted the skies above as the last rays of sunlight skimmed across the vast oceans. Small waves crashed against the rocks bellow and a few seagulls squawked about as they were finding a place to sleep before dark.
A lone copter sighed in the peacefulness of the evening. Parking near the edge of the pier as she looked across the oceans, admiring the sunset that was on the horizon. It was a beautiful evening to finally let out the frustrations of the day. She felt a weight lifted off her as she let herself go into the peacefulness of the night.
"Mother." A young copter called, breaking her out of her train of thoughts. The little copter playfully giggle as he drove near the edge of the pier to where she parked.
"Careful Toby daring, you could fall on to those rocks." She pointed down below where the jiggered sharp rocks were. Making the young copter shuddered at the thought of being stabbed by one of them. "You don't want to become a copter kabab now do you?"
The small copter quickly shook his head. "Na-uh."
"Yeah I didn't think so." The older copter scoffed.
Silence fell upon the the two as the copter's attention was drawn to the sunset once again.
"Beautiful Isn't?" She asked only to see her son occupied with something else he was looking at.
"Whats that you have there?" As she pointed towards a small badge that was on the young copters side.
"Oh, Uncle David gave it to me. He said that it was our family sigil."
As Toby turned to his side to show his badge fully to his mother which was a small white designed wolf's head.
"Ah yes, the wolf. And do you know why the wolf represents our family, Toby?"
"Umm because we are wild animals?" The copter commented innocently making her mother laugh out loud.
"No darling." She softly shook her head. "The wolf is our family sigil because it represents what we McClains stands for."
"Really?"
"Yes Toby" The copter responded calmly.
"The wolf symbolises loyalty, Justice, defence, severity, dignity and most importantly." The old copter took a pause as she turned to face her son. "Family. There's nothing more important to us than our family. Just like how the wolf puts its pack before its own interest."
She smiled at the little copter who drove closer to her side as they both looked out onto the waves.
"Promise me Toby." The copter started. "Promise me that you will keep all our family traits. That you would always remember that family is the most important of all. To learn to love them even through their mistakes or your own interests. Can you promise me that?"
"Hm-mh, I promise mother." The young copter smiled.
"Thats my good boy."She praised.
