So I have brought this great story to a close and will be heading on to write a new one called DESCENDANT OF THE MOON. Look out of it. I should be starting it tomorrow.
In the meanwhile, let me give you some fun facts about this book.
1. Sam was never a love interest. I just could not picture him fall in love.
2. In the original draft, the killer was Asher Reid. In this one, I wanted the killer to be Cherry, but that was too obvious so I had to change.
3. Trixie was never supposed to die, but I just didn't like her, so I killed her. In the previous draft, she came back as a demoness.
4. Nat was supposed to die in a heroic attempt to save Bells, but I love them so much.
5. In the previous draft, Tony was a bad person and was not gay. However, I wanted to add more diversity, and he had potential so...
6. Tony was supposed to die, but I made him good instead.
7. The killer was supposed to break into Sam's house at an attempt to murder him. I just couldn't see that happening.
8. Nat was supposed to fall for Azrael, but I turned them into a nonbinary lesbian and matched them with Tiff instead.
9. Tiff was supposed to die. Come to think of it, a lot of people was supposed to die.
10. Raphael was supposed to have a crush on Bells, but that just seemed weird. I mean, he's her uncle.
11. In the previous draft, Bells told Sam she was in love with him, and in response, he turned into a snake like creature, just to scare her off and remind her he isn't even human. The Devil broke her heart.
12. Sam doesn't ask Bells to return the favour because he has developed a soft spot for his niece.
13. Cherry originally had a dad named Ronald. Her mom was Black, and dad was Caucasian, but in the spirit of diversity, I gave her two mothers.
14. Asher's dad was originally a wife-beater who caused the death of his wife - though never proven.
