Chapter 12

Jin backed away when a strong smoke hit his nose. It seemed there was a fire in the wedding hall. If so then why weren't people coming out? He was sure there was a fire and it was in the hall. He needed to get them out. He covered his nose and walked back but hit someone. It was Jungkook.

"What's going on?" Jin asked, his eyes began to water as the smoke began to spread.

"Stay here. I will go and find Namjoon." Jungkook said before running into the wedding hall.

"No!" Jin shouted but the younger was out of sight, lost in the smoke. He sighed "That boy. He needs a piece of my mind."

He shook his head, opening his phone to call the firefighters but there were no signals. How strange. How was it possible? He had no choice but to walk into the smoke. He covered his nose, walking blindly towards the hall. He heard cries and screams more clearly. It was a sign he was close. He saw a woman running towards him, crying as she ran past him. He saw more people running out. He pushed past them all, finally reaching the hall. The smoke was too much now. He coughed, catching a glimpse of the doors, they had a lock on them that wasn't there before. His heart clenched when he saw the fire, burning everything in the once beautiful hall.

"Seokjin!"

Jin turned around towards Yoongi's voice. He sighed in relief when he saw Jimin and Hoseok too.

"Why are you here?" Hosoek asked, angry.

Jin rolled his eyes and asked "Where is Kevin?"

"He was just beside us." Jimin said, looking behind them. Jin breathing increased,  eyes scanning the fire lit area. It was so dark and smokey, hardly anything far was visible.

"Kevin! Kevin!" Jin shouted, coughing as the smoke increased. He felt himself being pulled back, he growled at Hoseok who was pulling him, towards the doors.

"Get out of here!" Hoseok ordered.

Jin pulled his arm free but Jimin held him.

"Let me go!" Jin screamed at them. He thrashed in their hold. 

"He must have gone out. Just go out. The fire is spreading." Jimin said.

"He can't have." Jin tried biting Jimin's hand but Hosoek held his face.

"Why are you worrying about a slave? Even he dies..." Hosoek was barely able to dodge the punch that Jin delivered. He let go of Jin's arm when another came.

"Don't you ever say that!" Jin shouts at him, grabbing his shirt, ready to punch him. 

Yoongi tried pulling him back and Jin growled at him. He was about to punch him when Jimin said

"Clam down. There he is." Jimin pointed towards Kevin who ran towards them. Jin pushed Jimin away and hugged Kevin.

"Are you ok?" Jin asked, pulling back and examining his face.

"I'm fine." Kevin eyed him up and down, looking for any injury. "I think there are some people trapped there."

"Where?" Jin asked.

"In the back section." Kevin replied.

Then three more figures walked over to them, the kim brothers and Taehyung who was carrying a girl.

The girl was crying, trembling.

"There are no others right?" Yoongi asked.

"We checked and we found only her." Namjoon replied.

"Let's get out. It's dangerous now." Jimin said, motioning towards the door. They all ran out, the girl in Taehyung's arms.

They were almost out when the girl shouted "My brother!"

They stopped, trying to understand what she was saying.

"You have a brother?" Taehyung asked. The girl nodded. "Where is he?"

"He was there with me. But when the smoke thickened I couldn't find him."

Taehyung held the girl close, glancing at the others.

"He is still there." Jin quitely said.

"But we checked."

"If she says he was near her, we would have found him too." Jungkook said.

"But we haven't. He is still there." Jin said.

"We can't go back now." Hoseok said.

Jin turned, running back into the fire and smoke.

"Jin!"

"Don't!"

"It's dangerous!"

But he was lost in the smoke. Jin covered his nose, coughing as he ran into the cloud of grey. He stepped back in fear when he saw the hall burning, fire reaching out. But he still went inside, running staright back to the far side of the hall, shouting "Boy! Little boy! Where are you!?"
