"Wake up, Amanda."
A deep but manly voice wakes Amanda up. She doesn't understand where she is, though it looks familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.
The room looks like a living room, with a red rug in the middle. Two sofas were placed opposite to each other in the middle, and to her left a TV hung on the wall. Amanda could see a door in the wall in front of her, but if she focused too much, she could see it glimmer in and out of existence. The windows at her right were covered with long curtains. A candle latern hung on the ceiling, but the room was lighted up with lanterns on the walls.
"Hello!" A tall man wearing a black hoodie and torn jeans appeared in front of her. His hair looked pink, but gray with age. "You look a lot like her, not gonna lie." He looks at her thoughtfully.
"Who are you?" Amanda finally asks, getting her bearings back.
"So I know you and you don't know me?" He points out curiously, with a smirk on his face. "I'm sorry I haven't had this much fun in a long time. I was waiting for you," He continues without waiting for an answer. "Fredrick, come out dear," The man waves his right hand at a boy who appeared near him. "Well, do you recognise him by any chance?" The man points at the boy.Amanda looks confused, having difficulty to form words. "F-fredrick. . ? I thought you d-died," She mutters.
"Amanda, there's something I have to tell you," Fredrick walks near her, she realised she could see through him, and the man. "I-I was not real. I-it was an illusion, Am," He stammers the words out as he sits opposite to her.
"Fredrick you tricked my-" She couldn't find her words.
"I'm really sorry, Am-"
"DON'T CALL ME AM, LIAR! YOU LEFT US AND TRICKED US YOU FOOL!"
Amanda yells at him, not able to control her anger. "I knew something was fishy about you since the day we met. You said you'd take care of me like a big brother. And yet, you LEFT ME LIKE I MEANT NOTHING TO YOU!"Fredrick sighs. "Jacob, I can't handle her anymore, I'm sorry." He stands up and disappears. Amanda was able to see him falling to the ground for a millisecond.
"Amanda, he was there with you even if he disappeared. You should know that," The man- Jacob grunts.
"B-but-" Amanda starts to respond, but Jacob interrupts her. "I'm not going to waste any time, I guess you know who I am by now," He doesn't wait for a response. "Now watch, and remember, you are connected to this."
"Connected to what?" Amanda asks.
"Connected to. . . This," he snaps his fingers and the scene reels out of focus.Amanda now stands in the middle of a chamber, a young boy of about 15 standing in front of her, near an altar. The chamber was round, grand pillars rising up into the sky, the ceiling open, but yet covered with thick vines, letting in only small patches of sunlight. The boy stands up, and a voice echoes through the round chamber, bouncing off the walls behind the pillars.
"Hello, dear legacy of the peace fairies. Since you are one the saviours, I shall leave you alive this time, but thou shall realise I am not to awakened again. The sacrifice you have made is worth not much, but plenty for I am in debt for your kind. Now leave, after hearing this prophecy, although it does not belong to you or your brethren of current."A bright light glows from the altar and a chorus of voices rise from the surroundings.
"The Nature's daughter shall lead the way,
With dangers related for her to slay,
But beware of your nearest friend,
Because they may deceive at the end.
One shall not realise,
That one among them is an ancestor in disguise.
But raise or fall the realm may see,
In the end evil must meet with thee."
