Aspen pov

I blinked touching Zach shoulder lightly. "excuse me."

Zach move nodding. I smile slightly going down the stairs. I pause at the last step. I walk over to the front door holding the doorknob, I let go holding my hand rubbing it. I walk back upstairs, Zach walks by his room, I smile lightly walking over to him.

I wrapped my not injured hand around Zach rubbing his neck. His eyes stared into mine, we lean in as my phone went off. Fuck. I took my phone out sighing.

"It's my mom."

"Is it?" Zach cocked his head.

I show him my phone nodding. I called her back stepping back from Zach listening to her bitch at me. I agreed with everything she said. "I'll be home tomorrow. I'm sleeping over at-"

"It better not be a boy house!!" my mom yelled over the phone.

I rub my ear taking a deep breath. "No, I'm at Michele house!! I have to go!" I press the red button so fast glaring over at Zach.

"Are you mad at me or-"

"Shut up pretty boy."

I smile taking a few steps to Zach pulling him close giving him a hug. Zach chuckles, picking me up from the ground holding me tight. I mess with Zach hair, playing with it looking into his eyes. I couldn't racist him anymore. I wrap my arms around his neck, softly kiss his lips having my eyes closed. I felt Zach's lips against mine.

Zach is like breathing in fresh air with all the shit i deal with at home. He's my escape and never want to leave my escape. We pull back, I move my face into his neck tearing up.

"Shh shh I'm right here." he said.

"T-t-thank you." I replied.

I held on to Zach wrapping my legs around his torso, Zach rub my back walking around his room. The rest of the night was Zach being the absolute best human to me. We watch the rain fall from the sky. He let me sleep in his room as he slept on the floor. I told him not to but he insisted.
