"Hello?" I answered As I was getting into the Uber.
All I could hear was screaming and moaning which was weird.
"Hello?" I said again confused.
"Peep!" I heard someone moan.
I recognised the voice but couldn't make it out until I heard gus say "Layla, fuck" after that I ended the call and told the Uber to go to my apartment.
I ran to the elevator crying so much the desk lady asked me if I was okay.
After I got into my apartment I threw my luggage and food across the room.
I can't believe he would do this after promising me forever, I guess you can't change people like him.
Skip a couple of hours
I woke up to the darkness of the sky and a phone ringing, still having to wake up I picked the phone up and answered it.
"Des?" I heard Tracy say.
"Yeah, what's up?" I say sitting up.
"Where are you? You were supposed to be here 2 hours ago?"
"Sorry trace, I'm not coming" I say remembering the call from earlier.
"Why not?"
"Ask peep about the phone call" And with that I hung up.
Tracy's pov
She hasn't called him peep since they started dating so somethings going on.
"What the fuck" I say going to gus' bunk.
"What the fuck have you done?" I say ripping the curtain open.
"Woah bro chill, I haven't done anything? Where's des?" He says wiping his eyes.
"What's this about a phone call?" I say getting pissed off.
"What do you mean?" He says sitting up confused.
"Hold on, let me call des" I say getting my phone out.
After a few rings it went through and I put her on speaker.
"Des, what happened with a phone call?"
"Ask peep I said" she says with a scratchy throat.
Gus immediately got up noticing she's been crying.
"Baby, what happened?" He says confused.
"Dont call me baby, we're done gus"
After she hung up peep slid down the wall with his head in his hands.
"What the fuck is going on?" I say ringing her again, after she answered I quickly let know that I'm by myself in the back.
"What happened Des?" I say with sympathy in my voice.
"H-he cheated trace" she said in between sobs.
"How Des?" I ask not knowing how she would know with being in la.
"Layla rang me, they were having sex" she said breaking down again.
"How did you know it was Layla"
" you know how I know, ITS BECAUSE I HEARD HIM SCREAM HER NAME" she shouted out of frustration.
"Right Des, imma go talk to him, I'm booking the next flight over" I say walking towards gus on the floor.
"No you don't have to, I'm fine by myself" she says coughing.
"No im coming, I'll call you later Des, love you"
"Okay trace, see you soon, love you" and with that she hung up.
I quickly walk over to peep and grab him by his collar "what the fuck were you thinking" I scream at him.
He just stares at me with guilt in his eyes.
"I don't know, I was missing Des and needed something"
"What the fuck" I say smacking the wall next to him.
"I told you not to fuck with her"
"But you did anyway, I swear to fuck, don't go near her" I say letting go of him and walking off.
"Trace I didn't mean to, I love her I really do!" He screams like he's trying to convince himself he does.
"How many did you take?" I look at him.
"What do you mean?" He says confused.
"How many xans?" I say walking up to him once again.
"None, I haven't taken any?"
"Dont fucking lie to me, I can tell you have gus"
"Okay I took 7, I only did it because I missed her"
"So you cheat on her?"
"Fuck you" I say going to the front of the bus.
"Take me to the nearest airport"
"Trace where are you going?" He says to me as I'm packing all my stuff.
"To go comfort my best friend, after you broke her"
