Chapter 1 - Him (Pilot)
"Monday, why did it have to be Monday?" Zelda thought to herself as she literally rolled out of her bed and onto the hard cold floor. The cold hardwood floor sent chills through her entire body, screaming for her to get off the floor. She didn't have the energy to listen though. She sat there for a few minutes wondering why her life was so dull and void of any emotions. Sure, she was going to her dream college, but that didn't mean she was always going to be a happy ball of sunshine. That didn't mean that she wasn't going to school though. Zelda stood up, dusted herself off from the dust on the floor, (she had been too busy over the weekend with projects to sweep the floor) and slipped on her slippers to grab one of her uniforms from her closet and get dressed in the bathroom.
"What time is it?" Zelda asked herself, taking out her phone to look at the time. "7:46! Oh my goddess, I'm going to be late!" She flung the door to her room open and ran down the stairs, careful not to fall down them. Quickly poured herself a cup of coffee, (which she spilt on her hand giving herself a slight burn) grabbed her bag and ran out the front door with a plain bagel in her mouth.
She ran down the busy streets of castle-town, careful not to bump into anyone and spill her coffee anymore than she already did that morning. "Turn left here, make a right at this stoplight, and run up the stairs of the university." Everything was going perfect this morning, despite her late start. That is, unil she walked into a blur of blue and green. Zelda yelped as her book, coffee, and bagel went flying into the air. She expected to hear the sound of books falling, and coffee spilling but didn't hear anything.
Looking up she found that the person she had bumped into had caught everything. With the book in his right hand and the coffee in the other, he had caught the bagel on the book. Although the bagel was face down so the cream cheese was touching the cover of the book, I was luckily still edible though. His impressive reflexis wasnt what made her mind go blank. It was his face, and by the goddesses it was beautiful. His sandy blonde hair, the two longer pieces on the side that perfectly framed his face. His strong jawline and then the most mesmerizing thing, his eyes. When Zelda looked at them she felt lost in that sea of blue, like she had walked into an ocean and lost all concept of where she was. His mouth moved saying something, but she didn't hear. All she could see and think about was his eyes. He must have noticed she didn't respond and waved the hand with the coffee cup in front of her face, breaking the spell.
"What?" she asked the man in front of her. "I said you might want to hurry to class, I'm assuming you have an 8 o'clock class?" He said with a slight mischievous smile. He knew what he had done, he was aware of the effect he had on women.
"Oh right sorry, thanks for catching my stuff" She said as she hurried past him "No problem "Princess"" He replied back. "Princess?" Zelda thought to herself, "Why did he call me, where did he go?" Zelda thought to herself as she had turned around to look at him one last time before running to class. He was already gone though.
She arrived in class right as the lecture started. Professor Nabooru was teaching on the origins of the ancient form of worship to the goddesses when she noticed someone sneaking into class.
"Miss Harkinian" Zelda heard the professor announce to her, "Please try to be more punctual to class next time"
"Sorry" Zelda returned as she smiled apologetically and sat down in her seat in the back of the room. Zelda tried to pay attention but she couldn't; she just kept thinking of what the sandy haired boy had called her. ""Princess?" Why did it sound like it just fit?"
