(Edward P.O.V)

What I heard surprised me. It was from Bella's stomach and it was....a ....baby? But how??? Once I heard that, I couldn't take it and excused myself and went running to our meadow and sat down just thinking. I heard my daughter come running and as I looked up, she just entered and came to sit down on my lap.

"Daddy, is mommy ok? I’m scared." she said quietly.

"Don’t worry sweetie, mommy is ok." I told her.

I felt her nod her head before resting it on my shoulder and slowly drifting to sleep.

(Bella’s P.O.V)

Edward suddenly left the room and Renesmee followed him. I wonder where they went to. Once Carlisle started talking, I was brought back to reality.

"Well Bella, I think I know what the problem is, though it is highly unlike for this to happen." he took a deep breath, “You’re pregnant."

I stopped breathing and didn’t speak until I heard Rosalie leave the room with Emmett following before a door was slammed shut.

"I'm pregnant?" That's why Edward left, but why? I couldn’t get hurt this time, I would be alive and healthy! I was so happy but i wanted Edward here.

"Um, can one of you call Edward?" I asked.

"No need, he’s already on his way and will be here in 3.2.1" Alice said.

At that moment Edward entered with a sleeping Renesmee in his arms. He gently took her to her room before coming and picking me up in his arms and taking us to our bedroom and setting me on the bed as he lay next to me and started tracing shapes on my stomach.

"You know im pregnant?"

"yes"

"Are you ok?"

"Love, right now I’m so happy"

I was shocked.

"Really?"

"Yes, this time we can be happy. You won’t get hurt."

I was so happy but I was tired and couldn’t help but yawn.

He chuckled, "Go to sleep, love. I love you."

"Love...you...too" I said before I fell asleep to the sound of my lullaby and started dreaming with a little boy with green eyes and bronze hair. That night I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
