Chapter -2 Geeta – Survivor and blessing to be a mother
Geeta Mausi had been saved by Ritika's mother when she was 30 year and was brought to her clinic by few localities after finding her wounded near a canal. She was badly beaten also Dr.Jaya could figure out she was forced aborted, which has damaged her uterus. Post gaining conscious traumatized Geeta reveled her story of her in laws beating her as she conceived third time a gird child and every time she was forced to abort. This time tantrik who was considered as guru had told if third time if she bears a girl child it will mean she is cursed women. She had no place to go and was upset of being saved by the doctor. Dr. Jaya consoled, pacified., as she was a 10th pass she Dr.Jaya offered her to take care of clinic and be a house help which Geeta accepted . As years passed she became a member of family. She could never be so thankful to Dr.Jaya and family for what she had done. Dr Jaya did want Geeta to start her life again, did propose few time to look for marriage again, get legally separated but Geeta was not interested and wanted to live the life with peace and when Ritika was born she felt she has been given a opportunity to take care of the child which she could not bring to the world . But she never thought she would have to do this alone without her didi Dr.Jaya
