Chapter 5 Fastforward >>Ritika's next 10 year was normal nothing different from any girl's life. Few change which was noticeable was her father kept renewing contract of Germany. Every 6 month he came to visit her. Geeta mausi is her best friend other than bunch of friends she had in school . Few incidents did happen which made Ritika realize Bua , fufajee ,Rohan care much about the caste, society and even she is part of that ecosystem and expected to balance it. Bua is teacher so post Rohan bhai passed out also she was in a very secure world. She settled soon in her class, she is not extrovert but she got along with all girls.When she was in class 6 ending and Rohan bhai farewell was happening when he was in 12th , a incident happened which made her realize she need to ask everything , cannot decide anything on her own. She was invited for a birthday party in Mac Donald. It was combined birthday party of few friends which also included boys of her class. As her group of friend Khushi,Rashi,Prachi were going she also joined them. Usually the routine is all 3 come together to school, due to school work or classes bhai and bua get late so driver drop her and comes back to pick Bua and Rohan Bhai.On that day Prachi told she will drop her on way back home. School ends at 3, she informed Kaka she is going with friends and will be home by 430 . All her friends were enjoying the chit chat, cake smashing she was sitting and observing and smiling . Batchmate boy and girl no one ever forced her to smash or dance as probably everyone knew she is niece of Preeti madam , when they were relishing the burger and fries..one of the boy who was celebrating bday came to the table where they were sitting and asked the girls – if they can dance with him . Boy's name was Jatin and he is not in the notorious list of boys. It was common to play Truth and Dare and Ritika and group knew he was in trouble, so they decided to help , 2 girl Ritika and Prachi did not getup to dance and he said pls sab kar lo..10 sec he sahi...Way he requested they could not refuse and in the moment of party and song and friends, they danced a lot..and it was 4.20 when Ritika nudged Prachi we should go. They left quickly, as promised Prachi dropped Ritika to her place. Ritika opened the gate and saw mausi running toward her , she looked tensed – kahan thee Ritika. Ritika said mausi who bday party tha, mene kaka ko bola...before she could say more they had entered the hallway . Rohan Bua were standing and dadi was sitting ..Bua asked..Kahan thee.. Ritika : Bua woh party the bday is month ke, mac d mein.. Bua: Jana jarori thaa? Ritika: Bua sab jaa ranhe.. Rohan: Wahan ja kar jo harqat ke..woh Ritika: mein samjhee nahin Rohan: Yeh dekho facebook , someone had put dance video and photo.. Ritika: Bhai sab kar rahe..woh shayad Dare mila.. Rohan: Sab kunwein mein khudenge toh... Ritika: Per bhai mene aisa kya kiya.. Rohan got very angry, and he stepped near to Ritika..ritika bakwas mat kar..ladkon kay sath Nachna nahin hain. Aur khaskar hum ghar sei koi bhee satth nahin. Ritika: Bhai per sab..... Rohan got upset..and he stepped ahead and was abt to raise his hand..which his mom stopped at right timeBua : Ruk jao..Rohan..sab chup Bua: Beta dance wance nahin pasand aur hona bhe nahin chaihey jab tak ghar ka koi na hoon.. Ritika: mujhey pata nahin tha...bua.. Rohan: Isey sab batana hain kya. Mumma.. Bua:Rohan please.. Bua: Aur jab bhe school sei kahin jaoge mujhey ,fufaji ya rohan ka poch ley kar jaoge.. Geeta Mausi: haan jiji...aisa kuch nahin hoga..Ritika bin kuch bole kamre mein chale gaye, Rohan pechay kehta raha dekho usko apni galti dekh he nahin ranhe..Aur sar chadhao..Geeta Mausi kuch der baad kamre mein aaye toh Ritika ka rote rote bura haal thaa..usney kaha Ritika ko kamde badle muh haat dho kar chai biscuit ley. Ritika ko thoda pyar puchkar Ritika man gaye change karney baad geeta aur Ritika dono chai leye..Geeta na tab kaha rohan acha he chahta hain, ladkiya ko ladke kuch karenge toh badnami ladki hogi, aur app toh bua kay yaahan ho, unke jimmadari hain, bura mat mano...apko rohan aur bua ko sorry kehna chaihey, per mausi dance bura thodi..dance bura nahin hain beta per ajkal rohan bata raha tha photo ka kuch bhe ban jata hain, jo hua so hua..bas ab chai penay baad sorry kehna..man sab ka shant hoga..Ritika was not ready but somehow soothing voice of Geeta Mausi made her convince to do what she was asking for. Ritika went to bua – she was happy with Ritika coming and saying sorry, she just patted and continued her work. Then she went to rohan's room, knocked and opened the door , he was studying , he still was upset , she aske bhai andar aaon, he kept quiet..she went towards his study table and said sorry bhai, mujhey photo ka pata nahin thaa..aur kisney kab leya yeh bhee pata nahin thaa.. Rohan thought a while and said – teekh hai per ab koi bhe ladke kay sath baat karna dance karna sab nahin agar who baat karey sirf jitna jarori utana..Mera yeh akhri saal hai per mein sab ko janta hoon..jooth bologe tab bhe pata chal jayega,Ritika: bhai mein jooth kyon bolonge..Rohan:Ritika tumo Priya mausi kay sath kya hua pata hai? Ritika:Kaun Priya mausi ? Rohan: Mamaji ke ek cousin behan bhe thee, Priya mausi mujhey thoda he yaad hain, unhoney suicide kar lee the kuch ladkay key chakkar mein...mein apne behan nahin khona chahta aur tum bhe ghar ka status bana kar rakho. Acha padthee hoon, jitna dance wance ka mann hon apne Saheli kay sath ya ghar per..Bahar bilkul nahin....and then he holded her hand..sorry mujhey gussa thoda jaada ata, aur mene nani , ma-papa ko dukhe dekha hain Priya mausi ka jab bhee naam ata hain..ek aur kand nahin chahta..Bua-FufajiFufaji: Kaisa tha din aj? Bua:hmmm aj Ritika school kay bad party.. Fufaji: Kya? Bua: Sab bachey gaye thee..uske dost bhee Fufaji: Preeti jab Ritika ko ghar laa rahe tabhe maa aur baki sab nay kaha thaa, ab who humari jimmadari hainBua: Haan..dar gaye thee,aur rohan bhe kafi..pareshan aur kafi chilaya..hath bhee uth gaya thaa Fufaji: Samay sei hath uthey tab teekh hota hain, ab ritika bhe badi ho ranhe hain Bua: Geeta nay samjhaya hain, mein bhe samjaongee.. Fufajee: Mein baat karon? Bua: nahin..raju ko batana hai kya? Fufajee: Nahin 2 mahiney mein aayega tab bolenge. Bua: Bache pyari hain, jaada pata nahin..dar sa hai priya jaisey..kahin Fufajee: Nahin humko dhyan rakhna hainLater this episode, she never went alone anywhere, if it was Mangesh kaka as driver then she was allowed to go alone, else with any other driver ..Geeta aur Bua went with her . Rohan got admission in DU , he came home on wknd and one of his primary work was to meet junior, canteen personnel and ask if they can tell anything about Ritika and which he should know.Most of her friends had mobile , she did not have . She was too scared to ask as well and thought she will wait for her father to come. She was looking to have mobile to chat with her father as telephonic call were not enough for her . She waited for her father to come home during Diwali. When her father came, she wanted to be alone with her father and even her father wished, but it was tough to get longs duration as someone or other kept coming and only time they get were post dinner. In one of the conversation she asked for mobile, her father said children get addicted. Ritika: aap sei he chat karna hain Papa: Laptop ley lo, studies kay leye bhee madad hoga Ritika: Acha papa Papa: 10th baad mobile ley lenaBua,Rohan, Fufa ji , Geeta used to go for small vacation but her vacation were all very monitored, safe , she always felt her best vacation though not expensive was her last days in Delhi. In one of the visit from her father she asked him when she can go back to Delhi – her father asked..kyon beta yahn mann nahin. She said nahin papa – per mujhey apney ghar mein rehna hain .Yahan aisa lagta hain ke mein sab ke jimmedari hoon .Rohan and Ritika fight increased as Ritika grew up. One of the semester holidays when Ronak was at home, Prachi, Rashi , Kushi were all at Ritika's home in her room listening to music, playing UNO. After sometime Rashi suggested to go out and have chaat..and do some window shopping. Ritika went and aske Bua and bua as she was not alone and Mangesh kaka was free allowed her to go. As Ritika went to get ready, bua quickly sneeked and asked Kaka to keep close eye. Girls went and roamed did window shopping , brought few things from street side hawker, Ritika was not too much into shopping , as they went to chaat vendor and were relishing chaat, at same time a group of boys who seemed like tourist started eve teasing. Girls quickly had chaat gave money,kaka also came and stood and they left. As they left the boys also chased girls till bua's house. Post that they roamed around ritika's house which was noticed by Rohan as they were racing bike .When Ritika's friend left , Rohan came to her room and closed all the curtain and said see you are bringing untoward problem, you could have had chaat at home. Ritika also lost control as Rohan was getting furious and she said..bhai ap mujhey jail mein dal do..ya chain mein bandh rakho..Rohan got very furious listening her by the time bua or fufaji or geeta could have intervened , Rohan slapped her , he slapped her twice..by the time bua and fufajee came andcontrolled her. Rohan said jabaan lada rahee hain mumma..akele hai choti hain sab nahin. Ritika on other hand also was shouting humesha mein he galat. Hearing the commotion Fufaji shouted loudly and told both to keep quiet..He looked sternlyFufaji : Behan par hath nahin uthana thaa Rohan : 4-5 baar ladkay chakar laga chuke, mene security main gate wale ko bola tab jaa kar unka entry band hua, aisa apko yaad hain itney salaon mein kabhi hua yahan Ritika: Fufaji mene jaan booj kar toh nahin kiya, mere kya galti, bhai mujhe he kyon bolte Rohan: Janey ke kya jarroat thee..hum nahin lay jati vacation, shopping Ritika: Mere friends hain mein unke saath bhe time.. Rohan: do thappad kafi na thaa isey Ritika: maar lo aur apkey mann bharney tak..and she came pulling her hand from bua Fufajee came in between and took hold of Ritika and said loudly Ritika – tameej sei bhai hain..aur hum sab yahan khade hainRitika then calmed down, went back and sat in bed and said humesha mere galti and tears were flowing. Bua and Fufaji told ronak to go out and then fuaji and bua told as geeta entered shant ho jaye tab baat karenge . Ritika looked at Geeta and said mujhey yahan nahin rehna yeh mujhey sirf jimmidari samajte hain aur sirf chowkidari karna hain inko. Geeta kept saying nahin unka pyar hain but Ritika was no mood to hear it. She cried and did not have any meal, and by night she was having high fever. Next morning as her fever was not coming down, bua took her to dr, and got medicine but those medicine should be eaten after having food. Bua requested rohan to go talk to her and Rohan then went and requested even sat behind her and shared – he does not want to lose Ritika ever, she is her responsibility. Ritika was not happy, by then the whole incident was reported to Dr.Sharma by Geeta. He also spoke to Ritika and told post you complete 12th, if she can get admission in Delhi or Chandigarh she can stay in own house. She was happy hearing it, little she knew ..she can stay own house, but does it assure only with Papa or Geeta Mausi...Things did not get easy for Ritika but she had a goal, goal to get admission to a good college. For next 2 year she kept that as goal. It did not matter if she was not able to go out alone, or be in balcony or garden for long, not allowed to do sleepover..the day she got the admission in AFMC . She would be taking admission in Delhi..moving to own house ..but Ronak also finished his MBA and decided to expand his fathers business in Delhi.All plan like before bua started making, they also had house in Delhi so they started renovation. Post admission, it was the time to tell to tell if want room in hostel or not. Ritika wanted to move to hostel rather than staying with Bua. She spoke to geeta but she said she wont be able to take it up , she took the courage and called her father.. Papa: haan beta Ritika: Papa ek baat karni thee Papa: haan bolo Ritika: Papa mujhey delhi mein hostel mein rehna hain Papa: per kyon? Ritika : 6 saal ranhe papa bua saath, please papa Papa: mein 2 nahinay mein wapas aa raha fir karte hain decideRitika: papa ap fir chale jaoge.... Papa: shant......10 sec nahin ab nahin Germany bas..ab hum dono delhi mein Ritika: sachi !!!!!!! Ritika: haan per bua ko kya bolenge Papa: nahin kuch nahin bolenge mene aise bhee ghar painting bola thaa..didi ko pata hain, aur do sadak dur he toh hain..kahan dur dur hain gharMay be luck started to change she thought and indeed may be it was. Next 15 days she was back to Delhi ofcourse with bua, but she and Geeta mausi went and saw the work at her own house and was happy to be back . From tomorrow her college was starting her day 1 of college..!!
