Anna and the French Kiss: Etienne's POV

I get to Anna's floor, and practically race to her room. 

I press my hands against the door. Her door. I knock. "Anna? Anna are you in there?" 

There's no response, but her light peeks through the crack under the door. My breathing halters at the thought of her being upset with me. 

"Are you alright? Amanda's downstairs, talking complete bollocks. She says you hit her?" I knock louder this time. "Please, Anna. We need to talk." 

She throws open the door. "Talk? Oh, you'd like to talk now?" 

I stare at her in shock. I was afraid she was angry, but she is completely disheveled. Her face is swollen from crying and she has a scratch down her rosy cheek. I've always seen her completley put together, but right now she's completely unkempt. "Anna?" 

"What, you didn't think I'd find out you went to Ellie's?"

Ellie's? "Wh-what?" 

"Well?" She crosses her arms. "Did you?" 

I'm utterly confused. "Yes, but...but--"

"But what? You must think I'm a complete idiot, right? That I'm just some doormat who'll wait for you on the sidelines forever? That you can keep running back to her every time things get difficult, and I'll just be okay with it?"

"it's not like that!" 

"It's ALWAYS like that!"

I open my mouth to speak, but then I snap it shut. I want to explain to her that I went to Ellie's to break up with her because Anna is the one that I want to be with, but I'm hurt. Anna thinks I'm using her. Does she really think that lowly of me? She knows me better than anyone else and she of all people thinks that I would do that to her? The thought boils inside of me. I storm off. 

"I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO TALK!" She says. 

I hear her door slam.

I FINALLY updated lol. I'm so sorry for the wait! This story is coming to a close soon which is crazy. For those of you who have been with me since I first started this fan-fiction novel, I must've been 14. I'm almost 20 now, which is insane. It's also insane that I've been writing this for 6 years! I never knew I was this slow lol, but hey life gets the best of us, right? 

I'm starting another Anna and the French Kiss spin-off, that I don't think anyone has done before. I'm really excited to share it with you all soon.
