{in the village} [Atem's POV]
I was carrying Stella as we walked around and Seto held Ryou's hand because you can't trust people any more. Stella said she's been saving up Her allowance to get me a gift from the village but no one had time to take her so she's insisting that she buys me something now even though I'd rather she keep her money or buy her self something cause I can buy anything I want my self but she's so insistent that I had to give in. "What do you want daddy?" She asked me and I smiled at her. I've decided to get something that was not expensive. "Um I don't know." I said and looked at a small bracelet with small wooden carvings on it, that cost about three dollars. :author notes: I don't know what they use for money in ancient Egypt and I'm too lazy to find out and figure out how. Much three dollars is in ancient Egypt money. :end of author notes: "This is cool." I said and she bought it for me. "Thank you my child." I said and she smiled. I look to Zara looking at a fancy hair pen. It had a flower made of ruby's and had emeralds for leaves. I walk up to her. "It's a beautiful hair pen." I said and she jumps. "Sorry." She said and turned to me. "Do not apologize. You are welcome to look around too." I tell her. She smiled and walked over to Stella who was trying to grab a cute pair of shoes.[Zara's POV]
I was helping Stella get a pair of purple shoes. "They so pretty." She said and I helped her try them on. "They suit you very well Stella." Atem said and Ryou walked over to Stella holding a cute little dress. "Hey S...Stella I t...t...think this will l...l....look cute on you." He said blushing. Stella smiled and went to a changing room. "Pharaoh I have bought you a present." Seto said and he gave him a fancy blanket. "Oh thank you Seto my old blanket was getting a bit old." He said and Stella came out and Ryou blushed. "Y...you look cu...cute." Ryou said and Stella hugged him. "Thank you Ryou it's so pretty." She said and he shyly hugged back. "Let's go look for something for you Ryou." Stella said and they went to the boys clothes.{Back at the palace} [Zara's POV]
After a day out on the town we got back to the palace I walked into my room and found a small box on my bed I pick it up and read the print. 'Thank you for taking good care of my daughter. Sincerely Atem.' I open the box and find the hair pin I was looking at in the market area today. "He bought it? Why this is was too expensive for some one like me." I said and I walked to the pharaohs room. *knock knock* I knocked on the door and a few seconds later he opens the door and smiles at me. "Um not to be rude, or seem ungrateful your highness but don't you think this gift is a little to expensive for a simple servant?" I said and he only smiled more. "Non sense. This is the perfect gift for a lovely, lady like your self. I really appreciate you taking care of my daughter. I know it must been difficult to raise other peoples kids but your doing a great job of it." He said and then took the hair pin out of my hand and placed it in my hair. "There we go. Hmm I think your natural beauty only adds to the beauty of that hair pin." He said gave me one last smile and closed the door. I sighed and walked back to my room, still feeling like the hair pin was too much for a servant. "Also what would I wear it with? I have all servant clothing." I sigh to my self and go to bed.
