"Hey! Let us go you disrespectful elf!" I yelled, writhing in my seat, trying to take off the rope wrapped around me and Yeji.

"Ooo~ that's not a great way to talk to a senior elf," He smirks, resting both of his hands on his scepter.

I scoffed, "Senior elf, my ass."

He slaps my face making me flinch in pain. I knew it. I knew this was going to happen.

The moment those red curtains opened, the moment that cunning man in old elf man costume appeared on stage. I knew it was him in his old suit. The dark elf.

He was kicked out of Santa's village because of his wicked attitude. He was far from being nice. He used to change the gifts inside the boxes into coals. Because of this behavior, he was kicked out.

After that, he's been trying to take the Christmas spirit down, for darkness to takeover. Which was not good. We were safe before because we knew where he would go every Christmas, but this time. His actions were unexpected.

"Are you okay?" Yeji whispered.

"Yeah. I'm fine," I said, although, I've been slapped by this merciless elf for how many times already.

"I wonder how Yuna's doing..." I shut my eyes in frustration.

Yuna...

Among us five girls, she is the most important. She's the one who gives Christmas spirit during this season.

It's December 8. Already three days after we got kidnapped, and according to my senses, Christmas spirit is down to fifty percent. Which means, only half of the people on Earth are feeling the Christmas, and actually enjoying the season.

"Oh I hope she's okay," Yeji's voice cracked, and I know she's about to cry. I held her hand, and whispered, "Everything will be alright. I'm sure they'll find us."

I'm also worried about the two. Lia and Chaeryeong are not as strong as us two. I don't know how will they find us here in the middle of the freaking nowhere.

After a few minutes, I felt that my body was starting to feel weak. My magic was slowly fading. This happens when Christmas spirit is low.

The dark elf left the room, and went to his own lair. Yeji, again, tried to remove the wrope, but it was just too tight.

"Pst!" I shifted my head towards where the voice was coming from, and I saw a silhouette of a man far away from us. He moves closer, and I finally recognized who he was. My lips curved into a smile as he walks cautiously towards us. It was Beomgyu, and he already knows me.

"Be quiet!" He shouts in a whisper. There was another boy behind him. Ah. Yeonjun.

He took out a sharp knife, and started cutting the tight rope wrapped around us, and on our feet.

Beomgyu helped me to stand, and in an instant, my knees weakened. Luckily, he caught me on time.

"Sorry for being late," He said while holding me in his arms. "I'm just glad you're here," Wait. That came out wrong. I was about to open my mouth to give him further explanations, but it was too late. He was already smiling while looking away.

"Okay let's get you both out here," Yeonjun said and we all ran carefully out the house.

We got on the car they were driving, and Lia and Chaeryeong were there. We all hugged each other, delighted that we were all safe, but of course someone was missing.

"Where's Yuna?" Huening Kai asked.

"She was put in a separate room. We don't know where, we don't know who are there with her, but one thing's for sure. The place she's in is not safe," Yeji said while catching her breathe.

"I'll go and find her." Huening Kai was about to get off the car, but I quickly grabbed him by his wrist to stop him.

"No. You're not going there alone."

"And you can't go in there again! It's not safe for you anymore," He said.

He has a point.

"I'll go with him," Yeonjun said.

"Are you sure? Are you both going to be okay without us?" Yeji asked.

"Yes. I promise. We'll be back with Yuna. Don't worry." He held Yeji's hand before leaving.

I sighed. May the little magic I gave Huening Kai work.
