Lumi's P.O.V.
"Come on Nate! We have to be there in thirty minutes." Nate hurried out off the house and sat himself down in the car. I sighed as he pulled the door of the car too hard and looked at me dumbfounded. That guy was more nervous than I was.
Chuckling a little I began to drive to our destination.
Today we would hopefully see if it would be a boy or a girl.
I secretly hoped for a girl. Somewhere I had heard that they were a lot more quiet at night than boys.
But of course a boy would be amazing as well.
As we had arrived at the doctor's Nate helped me out of the car.
I rolled my eyes.
"My dear, you cannot even see much of my growing stomach yet, I can walk and stand up on my own.
He just looked me dead in the eye. "Just let me help you." His seriousness had me laughing out loud. I ruffled through his hair.
"Okay big boy, then you might carry me over the threshold. He grinned and picked me up. As if I meant that in all seriousness! Laughing we arrived by the counter and the young man behind it looked at us in bewilderment.

"Congratulations, you are getting a girl." Happily I looked at Nate. It really is a girl! He clasped my hand and smiled back.
"You're in the fourth month so in April the baby should come Miss Ruotsalainen." I nodded at her and tried not to giggle at the pronounciation of my surname. Not even Nate could pronounce it correctly, even though he had tried many times.
Happy that our baby and I are healthy Nate drove us back home.

RomanceThis sequel can be read as a stand alone but I'd recommend reading "Fix your heart" first to get the insiders. Playlist to the book: "Hold my hand, Sequel" on Spotify, it has the same cover as the book here does
