Dragon and her Rider

Chapter 3

Silvers pov:

We reached his office he pull out two chairs for us attempting to take carmen out of my hands to what I assumed place her I the chair but before he could touch her i growled at him he look startled "my apologies I forgot dragons are very protective" he said in a apologetic manner

I sat down car who was half awake and ask this Dumbledore looking man my question "why do you keep calling me a dragon and her a rider"i asked very curious "well because that's wh-" he was cut off by an intrusion in his thoughts "I'm so sorry where are my manners I'm Headmaster Cashmere"he said "may I ask what are your names" he kindly suggested pointing at both carmen and me "this is carme Fuentez and I'm Silver Greenwood" I said feeling the need to tell him my life story

"Thank you for trusting me with that information I wont take it lightly" he stated "right...so about you calling me a dragon?" I asked hoping to get an answer "ah yes ofc well you see I should start from the beginning" he said and I nodded

"Well I assume you know the myths of dragons and vampires werewolves stuff like that" I nodded "well I'm to tell you there all true"he said bluntly "I'm sorry sir but I have no reason to believe you" I explained "do not fret I can prove it" he said before grabbing a knife, I immediately got into a stance ready to protect carmen "do not worry mrs. Greenwood I do not intend to harm your friend this tool is for me" he explained and took a slash on his arm

I was dumbfounded but not after a few seconds did he take is hand and wave it over his wound miraculously it healed "what the..." I stated "I'm what they call a Druid also know as the healing tree" he said

"So back to our previous conversation you are a dragon she is a dragon rider" he said pointing to carmen, I was to shocked to say anything "currently we have 2 other pairs of dragon and riders in our school with you two that makes three" he said, I regained my composure

"Sorry if I sound rude but we do not wish to stay" I said blatantly "we have lives to go back to" I started ranting he stopped me " I understand but for you and your family's protection
I must suggest you stay here where you can learn about your selves" he said sounding very convincing "but I will not force you to stay if you will please see what my school can offer you and your ride- I mean carmen" he said

"Thank you for not forcing us, if it's alright with you I will take your offer but only after Carmen's rested" i said looking at the girl resting her head on my shoulder

"Ofc mrs. Greenwood I will have my assistant escort you to a room for the next bit when you too are ready please come find me" he said clearing up my thought he leaned over into a small device and spoke "clara would you come to my office" he asked in no more than a second a knock was placed on the door "come in" Mr. Cash said.

In walked a woman whose legs were...goat? And had horns? I was dumbfounded once again "you called sir" she said "yes please escort these young ladies to a free dorm room" he said. She look at us and turned her head sideways before coming closer to mine and Carmen's face

I growled again but at her what with the growling today I questioned myself i was pulled from my thoughts when i heard the headmaster laughing "sorry clara shes very protective of her friend"he said "sir are they-" she was cut off my Mr.cash "yes they are" he said.

"I apologize dragon I did not mean to offend you" she said in a sorry tone "how did she-" "all supernatural creatures call tell one of there own" he said "that's how I knew who you 2 were" "ah okay then" I said as I grabbed carmen bridal style and followed clara to an empty room "here you will be staying until you've decided" she said "uh thanks" I was more concerned about how she knew about the deal we made but I was more tired to complain

"Just ring if u need me" she said before handing me a bell when I looked but she was gone "ok then..." I whispered while carmen moved a little "let's get you to bed" I said in soothing tone before placing her on the bed with soft sheets

I was turned to lay on the floor but something pulled my wrist "please stay with me" carmen said a in a barely audible tone "ofc car" I said before laying next to her she immediately snuggled close "have a good rest" I said before placing a kiss on her forehead and drifting off myself
