Dragon and her Rider

Chapter 4

Silvers pov:

I awoke to a sleeping carmen in my arms I didnt wish to wake her intact her calmness warmed me. Just as I was to fall asleep again I heard a small knock on the door saddend I left t the girl on the bed and headed to the door to find four people staring at me still half asleep I managed a "hi" in a rustic tone "omg hi" one of them  Squealed loudly I quickly looked back to see carmen still sleeping.

I turned my attention to the girl "please keep your voices down I do not wish to wake her"i said glancing back at carmen to make sure shes ok
"Omg I'm so sorry" she said in a whisper tone while also being exited "apologies accepted, I also thank you for respecting my wishes" I said to the short girl who had short brown curly hair that bounced with her and dark brown eyes

"Wow you talk so formally that's so cool" the short girls said gawking at me she was saying something else but I was paying attention as I felt carmen stir awake "s-sil-ver" she said yawning "yes" I answered back  Immediately leaving the group at the door I heard a " I'm so sorry if I woke you"the short one said sounding like she would cry "no you didnt wake me its quite alright" Carmen said  reassuring her it's ok

"May I ask who you four are?" I questioned "oh where are my manners I'm dragon rider Mia" the short girl said "and this is dragon alex" she said sounding happier "hi" said the boy behind her before I could ask questions the boy on her right said "hi I'm dragon rider Tyler" he said almost being as happy as the short girl "and this is dragon Cole" he said sounding very happy "hello" the boy behind him said sounding like the other dragon , I'm starting to see a pattern

"Hello to you four I'm Carmen" she said sounding like the other 2 "And this is silver" she said "hi" I said (ok pattern much)

"I dont mean to be a bummer but can I ask why you lot are here?" Carmen asked "oh we were told to meet the new dragon and rider" she said sounding very excited whilst jumping up and down in a circle "yea when we heard we were all so excited, new friends are awesome" he said almost as cheerful "o m g I couldn't agree more " carmen said joking them talking about puppy's

Whilst me and the other 2 guys were just staring at each other understanding that were went doing that and just watch our riders almost like we had a understanding of an unspoken language.

After a while they agreed to give us a tour to see if we wanted to stay I personally dont have anyone to go back to so I would make my decision based off of carmen. "What type of dragon are you" Cole asked me while we were following around the riders "I'm not sure I'm very new to this" I said ending with a sigh "i could tell you if you wish" he said "i would appreciate that alot" I said feeling hopefull

He looked into my eyes for a while like a staring contest "yout eyes have a hint of purple.." he stated "I suppose, but may I ask what that has to do with what dragon I am?" I asked "well for us the eye color determines what element we use" he said "oh so your element is-" "earth considering my brown eyes with a hit of gold" he said " I see and you?" I asked looking at alex "I'm a water element" he said "so what's mine" I asked "not sure I've never seen purple before" I'm pretty sure your very special, I'll do more research and let you know when I figure it out" I felt myself frowning more attached to these people "thank you that's very kind-" I was cut off by a scream that came from carmen I could tell
I ran as fast as i could bit when i turned the corner I saw her...eating the world's largest cotton candy? "CARMEN ARE YOU OK?"I asked checking her body for any scratches or bruises. "I'm fine sil you worry to much" she said laughing "why did you scream then" I ask after examining her for any blood. "Sorry for scarring you but I was just so exited when I saw this cotton candy machine" she said sounding guilty "not it's all right car" I said pulling her into a hug which is something because I normally dont huge people but Carmen's the only exception.

After we toured the campus witch we figured out is was Hidden academy witch made sense, we ran into Mr. Cash " oh hello dragons and riders" he said smiling "hello sir" the riders said in unison "hi" we dragons said in not unison, witch made the riders laugh even more. "Well I do hope your enjoying your stay and decide to stay" he said looking at me and carmen "oh we are sir it's a very nice campus and I would love to go to school here" carmen said very happily

I could feel that she really wanted to know more about what we are so I looked at her and she smiled "we decided we will stay sir if you'll have us" carmen said with a smile "splendid news I will transfer your school papers here and inform your parents and I'm sure they must know what you are" he said "thank you sir"i said "now I hate to be a party pooper but classes resume tomorrow" he said and the rider groaned "but I assure you the classes her are different from the classes out there" he said "in here you six will learn how to transform into a dragon" he said looking at me " and how to ride said dragon" he said looking at carmen who was very excited to ride a dragon

"Do you to know how to transform?" I asked Cole and alex "yes" they answered in unison "could you teach me" I asked politely "ofc" said cole alex nodded " we can learn now over in the field no ones there right now " they said "perfect come on carmen" I said "actually mrs. Greenwood but until you've mastered your dragon side you can not have humans including mrs. Fuentez near you during it" he said sounding sorry "I understand sir" I said then looking at carmen "catch you later" she gave me one last hug before going off with the other riders while I went with cole and alex to the field.

I feel like I could have done better I apologize for everything wrong in this chapter this books not going to have to many twist and turns (or will it 😏 I haven't decided) thanks for reading g :)
