Artist (Tsukishima Kei X Reader)

Chapter 2

The next day, Y/N went to the park, same time as the day before.

She sat down next to the lake, waiting for some inspiration. Once again, the lake let her down.

Y/N huffed and looked around, hoping to see Tsukishima again, but was disappointed when she discovered that he wasn't there.

"Where are you Tsukishima?" She asked herself.

"Tsuki, why are we at the park?" Came a voice

Y/N's ears perked up at the mention of "Tsuki"

"I told you Yamaguchi, it's calming here" there was the voice that Y/N had been waiting to hear.

She turned the direction that the voices were coming from, a smile gracing her features.

Today, Tsukishima was wearing a blue hoodie with a T-Rex on the front of it, blue jeans, and his signature headphones.

Y/N waited until he sat down on the bench with his friend and started drawing.

As soon as Tsukishima got to the park, he felt eyes on him yet again.
He knew that feeling. It was Y/N's eyes on him, that followed him to the bench.

He pulled out his phone and started playing games, just like he did the day before.

Yamaguchi continued to talk to him, even though he wasn't listening.
He was trying his hardest to sit still so that Y/N could draw him again.

About an hour later, he heard muffled footsteps coming towards him.
He looked up and saw Y/N standing in front of him, holding out a piece of paper.

He took it gently from her and admired her work.
She had included Yamauchi in the drawing.

"Thank you" was all he said before Y/N ran back to collect her stuff and left.

"Who was that Tsuki? What did she give you?" Asked Yamaguchi

"Her name's Y/N. She gave me another drawing that she did." He told his friend.

Yamaguchi looked at the piece of paper in Tsuki's hand and smiled at the beautiful art.

"You said another drawing. Did she give you one before?"

Tsukishima nodded and pulled the drawing from yesterday our of his bag, showing it to Yamaguchi.

"So that's why we're at the park. You wanted to see her again" Yamaguchi smiled

"Don't be rediculous Yamaguchi." He snapped and stood up, walking away.

Yamaguchi hurried after him.

"He came. I can't believe that he came today" Y/N smiled to herself as she walked away from the boys.

She thought back to the hoodie that he was wearing.
"Does he like dinosaurs?" She wondered.

She hurried home, and ran into her bedroom.

She opened up her laptop and typed in "T-Rex"

She scrolled through all the hundreds of images until she found one that she really liked.

She pulled out her art supplies again and began drawing, hoping that he would like it.

She worked on it for hours, making sure to get every detail.

Once she was done, she held it up, admiring her work.

"This is amazing. I hope he likes it" she mumbled to herself.

She packed up her stuff and made her way downstairs.

"Oh, there you are. I was just about to go and look for you at the park" said her mother, who was standing in the kitchen.

"What's for dinner?" Y/N asked.

"Chicken curry. Did you draw anything today?"

"Yeah. Hand on, let me get them." Y/N ran to her room and grabbed the picture of the dinosaur and the one of Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.

She went back downstairs and showed them to her mother.

"These are excellent. Who are these boys?" She asked

"The tall one is Tsukishima and the other boy is his friend. I think his name was Yamaguchi"

"And how do you know these boys?"

"I saw Tsukishima at the park yesterday and drew him. He was at the park again today with his friend."

Y/N's mom nodded and handed the drawing back to her daughter.

"That Tsukishima boy is cute, don't you think?" Asked the mother.

"Wha- mom no. I just wanted to try drawing something other than landscapes" Y/N blushed.

"Ok, fine. Whatever you say" laughed Mrs L/N. "Now be a dear and set the table for me"

Y/N nodded and set up the table.
Once she was done, Mrs L/N dished for both of them.

They ate in silence.

Once Y/N was done eating, she stood up.
"Thanks for the food mom. I'm gonna go for a walk"

Mrs L/N nodded and dismissed her from the table.

Y/N went and put on her black hoodie, grabbed her phone and put on her headphones, blasting music in her ears.

She grabbed her keys and opened the door, locking it behind her.
As she turned to face the road, some movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention.

She turned to look at what was moving and saw a familiar blue hoodie.
She squinted to get a closer look, struggling because if the dark.

"Tsukishima?" She mumbled and walked closer to him.
Once she was close enough, she could make him out clearly.
"Tsukishima!" She shouted excitedly.
Tsukishima jumped and turned to the direction of the voice and saw Y/N.

"You're such a stalker. What are you doing near my house?" He asked.
"I live in that house" she pointed to her house.

Tsukishima's eyes went wide.
"Well hello neighbour"

"Neighbor?..... Oh, you live next door to me" she laughed.
"Wait. I need to get something real quick. Wait here" she ran back inside, dashing to her room. She grabbed the Dino drawing and then ran back outside to Tsukishima.

She handed him the drawing, out of breath.
"Here.... For you" she huffed

Tsukishima took the drawing and shone his phone light on it to get a better look.

"How did you know?" He asked.

"Your hoodie has a T-Rex on it, so I took a guess. Do you like it?" She asked.

Tsukishima just nodded.

"Cool. Want to go for a walk with me?"
