Curiously, as per the report, Asia and the Middle East are in front of North America and Europe in mobile appointments. While in Asia mobile appointments stand somewhere close to 45 to 49%, in the Middle East they represent around 53%. Then again for North America and Europe, the figure is 28% and 33% individually, has badly affected the travel industry.

It has completely transformed the pattern of travelling and there are many travel agents who failed to cope with the change and are now on the brink of extinction. And those who successfully adapt the change are now swooping in the digital.
