chapter 2 : new friends!!

After math lesson, I walked with the girls and Ahlan to the canteen. Suddenly, a guy named Brian started to walk backwards before us four and tried to be popular with Sopheya.
“Hey Sopheya,I just won guitar competition yesterday,look at the cup I got from that competition" says him."wow that's amazing" says Sopheya, "hey new kid,have you ever won any competition?" He asked me… "oh nah,I didn't join any competition though" says me. "Woah what are you? A nerd?? A shut in?? Bruh stay away from me normie" says him with cocky dialect..

"I'm sorry if I am disturbing your conversation Mr Annoying but can you go now? please" says Sopheya. Ahlan knows the situation is going to be heated so to prevents the discussion from escalating into a fight between me and Brian,he pulls him away.
“Brian, go practise for tonight! You have a solo and I want you to play perfectly!”
His other friends called for him, so Brian finally left us.
“Shall we go to buy ourselves some food?”, Sopheya asked.
“Yeah, sure! And you, Kaella?”
“We will get something for her, she doesn’t like to stay in a long queue like that " Sopheya replied,  awh okay then,let's go . Sorry guys,I will be following my band to go to canteen " says Ahlan. Okay Ahlan,don't worry bout it, Ahlan walks to me and approaching my head, "enjoy your time with Sopheya bud" he whispered to me, *THUMBS UP* arigato Ahlan! Whispers me. Let's go Sopheya, "mhmmm let's go" says her, "hey Ahlan why are you transferred here?" asks Sopheya, I wonder if I should tell her or no, hMmmMm. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me yet,I'm not forcing you,sorry I asked " says Sopheya, nah I'm sorry Sopheya, I will tell you later when I am ready okay. "Sure no problem", "let's go queue to buy food!" Says Sopheya, ah now I see why Kaella don't want to be here, the line is super long, "yep true,she will easily get her energy drained" says Sopheya. This canteen is so big woah,I can see a lot of foods and there's ice cream too!

Waiting for ordering in a long long queue, "I'm sorry about Brian Faekh" says Sopheya, "yeah I don't mind him, don't worry bout it" I replied, "geez that Brian always shows off" says Sopheya, maybe she hasn't realised but that Brian dude obviously has a huge crush on her though. Hey Soph,I will buy this Fried rice,what bout you ? "I don't really know what I want to eat now,I will just take a pack of cookies and a curry pou for Kaella" says Sopheya. Aha okayy

Walking to class

We are now enjoying our food,I realise I have already been able to make three new friends, actually two since Kaella barely seems to be talking, in just one morning. 
“Do u get along well with her?”, I asked Sopheya. She turns and looks at me with her beautiful eyes and nods. 
“Mhmmm,We are besties.” I look at Kaella one more time. Her face expresses she is uninterested and very bored. Under her arm, she seems to holding a small book while eating her pou, the book is probably the diary. Then I look at Sopheya; she is smiling and talking with basically everyone. Sopheya behaves like Kaella’s contrary, yet she’s her bestie. 

I wanted to talk to her so I will try now.
“Hey Kaella! Heyy!!!”
I scream so loud that everyone close to us looks at me, except for Kaella. Sopheya takes off Kaella’s hoodie and then I see why kaella wasn’t listening to me;
She is wearing headphones!
“Great way to make yourself look stupid in front of the girl you love..”, I say to myself
“Uh”, kaella says. She hardly can get out of her own world.
“Didn’t you hear Faekh?!” Sopheya gives her a small slap on the head "tap tap"
“Ouuuchh, stop it! My hair is gonna get messy!”
“Your hair is already a mess, Kaella… Anyways, listen to what Faekh has to say to you.” 
Sopheya points at me.
“Uhhh… do u play any sort of sports?”, I ask Kaella. Sopheya bursts into laughter
“Oh god no; she’s soo bad at playing sports!”, she says.
“No way, I have won gold at the international championship in volleyball with my team!”, Kaella reveals as she's blushing.
“She looks kind of cute when she's blushing”, I think to myself.
“Really? Then show us your skills in the next PE class!” Sopheya has a smug look on her face, which turns into a wonderfully cute giggle. Sopheya leaves.
I look at Kaella, she’s pouting and looks red as a tomato. I’m stuck between these two beauties… What is this? A Disney movie like The beauty and the beast?

“Faekh do u accept Sopheya and Kaella as your wives”
“Yes I do”
“Ladies do you both accept to be Faekh’s first and second wife”
I wait for their replies. They open their mouths, but before I can hear what they say, someone slaps my on the back of my head.

I wake up and jump out of my seat, to see who hit me from behind.
“Yo dude you ok, you seem like as if you were stuck in another world.”
I see Ahlan standing right behind me.
“YEA YEA I’m FINE” I rub my head, he might not seem it, but he really can hit hard
“well PE is about to begin we better hurry bro or else the teachers totally gonna beat us up”
“so Faekh our teacher told us that today we are gonna play volleyball it’s gonna be totally uncooool ugh” He tells me as we approach the locker room
I could see why he was upset, he didn’t seem to be as tall as I am
Following him from behind makes me wanna pat that white hair of his.
“Aight here we areee, yo broo make sure you wear your underwear, it would totally suck if someone saw your lower body”
“OFCOURSE I WILL WEAR IT” I shout to Ahlan, in a very embarrassed voice
“Broo chilaxx i was just kidding if you know what i mean”
HE winks at me and walks out
“this dude is something else” 
I whisper to myself before putting my shorts on.
I go out into the volleyball court, the court itself is humongous and the room is at least 20 feets high, the ceiling is made up of transparent glass, and I could see the blue sky overhead… seems that the rain has cooled down for a bit.
“ALRIGHT EVERYONE PLEASE GATHER IN FRONT OF ME” the PE Coach screams out loud… his voice is louder than a microphone
The students hastily form 3 lines.
“Today we are going to play volleyball, your teacher has already assigned you into different groups so your teaming will be in that way.” I look around and try to find my partners
“HAIII AGAIN FAEKHHH” I hear a cute angelic voice and it could be only of one person… Sopheya. I look around to try to find kaella but she’s no where to be seen, “Where is Kaella”, I ask Sopheya.
“OMG DON’T TELL ME SHE’S HIDING AGAIN”
She finds Kaella hiding behind a pillar, “Kaella come out we have a game coming up real quick”
“i don’t wanna play I’m” 
She glances at me and changes what she was going to say.
“My uniform is too large” she says
But didn’t you already say that it doesn’t matter- OUCH”
Kaella cuts Sopheya off by hitting her in the arm
Sopheya replies by pulling Kaella’s hair
“OMG OMG STAWWWHHHP FINE I WILL PLAYYY”
Kaella screams as she’s about to cry
She looks so cute when she’s about to cry, and her oversized uniform also makes her look super adorable
First game coming up was against Group 1.
“LETS WIN THIS GAME GUYS” Sopheya shouts.
“Oh this is bad, this is really bad” I whisper to myself
In front of me were three guys that were at least two times taller than kaella. Sopheya must have seen my concerned look, “Don’t worry, we will be able to beat them, right kaella.” 
“Yeah I will try my best”
Kaella responded unsure of herself
*whistle blows*
The boys start the game without any wait.
“I GOT THIS!!” screamed Sopheya.
“Pass it to me Sopheya!!” I screamed 
I saw Kaella making a run for the net, quickly I decided to lay it off to her….
The ball fell perfectly where I want it 
*swish*
Kaella was running and…
She slips and the ball falls on her back.
“Sorry uh there was a rock on the floor” said Kaella
“STOP LYING!!” screamed Sopheya, and that made Kaella extremely sad… “It’s alright” Sopheya corrected herself after seeing Kaella’s sad face.
“Come on we can still equalize” I scream
This time they serve the ball straight to Kaella…
This time I say “she got it” 
Time seems to have stop for a second
She jumps and
*Dush*
The ball flies to Sopheya and without hesitating she lays it on to me
“FAEKHHHH!!” She screams
And boom
I SMASHED IT IN!!
Its 1-1
“hey i think you should check out what’s wrong with the small one” the opposition captain tells me
“OUCH IT HURTS” 
Kaella says… she’s trying to hide her tears but she’s in pain
She sees me and quickly wipes her tears and says she’s alright
I press her hands to see what’s wrong with her, and she screams and breaks down “I THINK I’m GOING TO DIEEEE PLEASE SAVEEE MEEE”
I could see many boys trying to hide their laughter
“Faekh take her to the nurse” our coach commanded.
After the  nurse checks her up, she tells me that Kaella is alright and that its nothing serious
I walk up to Kaella and ask her
“Do you play any type of sports…”
“Y-YES I DO!!” she says blushing
“I play a lot of E-sports”
“E-sports?” i ask
“Yea video games… dont you know im very good at league of legends… im probably the best in the country thats why my hand is super strong, im pretty sure there must have been a rock in the ball or something” she looks away… obviously embarrassed 
“Its alright injuries happen” i say as i rub an ice pack into her hands
“Stop i can take care of myself”
She looks at me for a few seconds…
Our eyes meet and all of a sudden i feel like im flying
I wanted to lean in and touch her nose for some weird reason…
But before i could do anything she snatches the ice pack and says
“I dont need help anymore go away”
I walk back into our class feeling disappointed and oddly heartbroken, how could i be hurt by the quiet girl in our class… it all feels too odd.
