Roman's POV
Later that day, me and Virgil sit on my bed watching the new Mulan IRL movie. "This sucks a*s." Virgil says.
"Yeah. This isn't good." I agree. We finish the movie then decide to head to the park. While at the park we're met by some old high school friends.
"Roman! Virgil! It's been so long!" Our friend Lacy says.
"Yeah, I know." I say. As she hugs me then Virgil.
"So, Roman you got a girl yet?" My friend Frank asks me. I hear Virgil snort, he knows I'm gay but these two don't.
"What's funny emo?" Frank wasn't the biggest fan of Virge. So he isn't the nicest.
"You think Ro could get a girl? Please." Virgil says, covering the fact I'm gay.
"Hey now!" I say playing along.
"Roman was hit with all the girls, moron. Or did you forget?" Frank spat.
Virgil didn't take well to insults. He always worries of what people thought of him, so insulting him doesn't so well. "Frank." I warn.
"Anyway," Frank says changing the subject. "My sister still has a crush on you." He says with a smirk. Frank's sister is probably the rudest and meanest person you'll ever meet. Like she it her goal in life to make Virgil feel like he's nothing. I wouldn't date her to save my life.
"And I still don't like her." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"Just don't." I say coldly, "But we should get going."
I take Virgil's wrist and lead him away. As we're walking I hear someone call "wait!" I turn too see Lacy.
"Sorry about him. I've been trying to get him to stop." She says.
"It's ok Lacy." Virgil says quietly.
Lacy hugs Virgil, I feel a little bit jealous. Lacy told me she had a crush on my emo.
As Lacy doesn't let go, Virgil pushes her off and hides behind me. "What happened?" I ask him.
"She blew in my ear. I didn't like that." Virgil explains, trying to dragging me away.
"We'll be going now." I say as I lead Virgil away. "You alright?" I ask.
"Yeah. I just didn't like that." Virgil tells me.
I nod and took him to my car. I open his door and let him get in. I then I get in the driver's side. I drive us home.
"Ro?" I hear Virge ask quietly.
"Yeah, V?" I answer.
"I don't wanna go home." He says quietly. I smile sadly at him.
"You can stay the night with me. Or however long you want too." I tell him.
"Really? I won't be a bother?" He asks looking at me.
"You're always welcome to stay with me V. You'll never be a bother." I say with a smile.
"Thank you Ro."
