Kai stares at the boy beside him. His light brown hair waving in the wind, his bright blue eyes looking at the stars. Kai smiles softly. The freckles on Jay's face kind of reminded him of the stars.

Jay turns to Kai and giggles.

"What are you thinking about?' He laughs.

Kai smiles fondly.

"Just how much I love you, and how I want to spend the rest of my life with you," Kai replies.

Jay laughs again. His laugh sounded like a song to Kai. Sweet and melodic.

"I would love to spend the rest of my days with you" Jay smiles.

Kai wakes up, gasping for air. He has this dream time, and time again. Who was this boy? How and why were they close?

Kai had never seen the freckled boy ever in his life.  Did the dream mean something?

Kai sighs, checking the time on his phone before getting up.

"I really should get an alarm clock." He says to himself, getting ready for the day.

After he had eaten his breakfast, he went to the mall to finally buy an alarm clock.

"Oof-"

Someone bumped into him, dropping whatever they were holding.

Kai bends down to help pick up whatever the other person had dropped. Picking everything up, he looked at the person.

He looked, familiar?

"Jay?"

"Kai?"

"W-wait, you're actually real?" Kai asks in shock.

"Well yeah, I'm real! But are you?" Jay teases. 

"Well of course! But I've only seen you in my dreams!" Kai exclaims.

"And the same with you," Jay replies.

The two stand there in awkward silence. Suddenly Jay gasps.

"What if we're soulmates!" He asks.

Kai laughs. His laugh sounding exactly how it sounds in Jay's dreams.

"I mean, we could be. You never know." Kai chuckles.

Jay giggles, causing Kai to blush slightly.

"Well if we are, then we can make those dreams a reality!" Jay smiles.
