It Will Be Fine (2)

Jay's POV
-Three Days Later-
I started to avoid Kai after the Draco incident, I didn't know what to do! What if he hates me? What if he actually does like me? I was in the library just making myself panic when a soft voice spoke to me.
"Hey?" It said.
I look up from the book I was pretending to read.
"U-uh, hey," I reply.
"So, um.. About the Draco thing and the winking... Um.." Kai looks away blushing.
Oh My GOSH! Is Kai, the bad boy BLUSHING?!?
I look at him,  turning a bit red myself.
"Oh, um.. Sorry for avoiding you, I guess. I didn't know if you did that on purpose, or if you were trying to tease me. Maybe you just wanted attention, I don't know.. Maybe you a-" Kai interrupts my blabbering.
"Will you go out with me?" He asks.
I stare at him in shock. A Hufflepuff dating a Slytherin? Is that even legal?
"Uh.. Yeah, sure!" I reply.
Kai let's out a sigh, and hugs me.
"OK, meet me in the courtyard tomorrow at 6 pm, and wear something casual!" He runs off, waving me goodbye.
I just sit there, in the library, in shock. I'm going on a date with the school bad boy. I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH MY CRUSH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I immediately start worrying. What if I overdress? He said we a something casual. What if I underdress? I quickly walk back to my common room and back to the dorm I share with my best friend Cole.
"HELP ME!" I shake Cole.
"With what?" He asks.
I sit down and explain to him, with much detail, of why I needed help.
"Kai just asked me on a date..." I tell him. "I don't know what to wear. He said something casual, but what if I underdress? THIS IS A BIG PROBLEM COLE!" I yell at him.

He chuckles and shakes his head. 

"I can't believe it. Your crush actually asked you out." He looks at me. "How did you do it?" 

I look at him.

"Cole, you aren't supposed to be admiring my skill in getting my crush to like me, YOU"RE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING ME FIND AN OUTFIT!!" I start quiet, then yell at Cole.

He starts laughing.

"Ok, ok.." He says, grinning.

He starts to think, looking through my wardrobe, mumbling, "Casual, casual, casual."

I just sit on my bed and wait.

"Aha!" Cole suddenly exclaims. "This should work."

I jump up from my bed and look at the outfit. It was a white t-shirt with a blue hoodie, white ripped jeans and a pair of black converse. (Just imagine)

"But that looks too much like a muggle..." I tell Cole.

"So what?" He asks. "You'll be special!"

I laugh quietly. 

"Ok then," I say.

-Time Skip-

Kai's POV

Today was the day... The day I go on a date with My crush. I am so nervous... I had asked Draco to help me set up the west tower (IDK what I'm talking about.. Just saying) for a romantic but casual picnic thing. We were going to just have some food, talk about things, watch the sunset then star gaze. Well hopefully that's what's going to happen... 

"Hey, Draco? Is this good?" I show Draco my outfit.

It was a white shirt with a black denim jacket, white ripped jeans and a pair of red converse. (Imagine it..)

"You look like a muggle.." Draco says flatly.

"So what? Jay is a muggle? And these are comfortable!" I protest.

Draco sighs.

"Fine, you look great." He says, smiling a bit.

"Thank you." I chuckle.

-Time skip-

It's finally time. I'm standing in the courtyard, near a tree with a couple of bluebells in my hand. I see Jay walking through the courtyard, probably looking for me. I quickly walk up to him and notice what he's wearing. 

"Nice outfit," I tell him, smirking.

"oh.. Uh, thanks. You look uh.. hot! I-I mean good! You look good.." Jay then look down, taking sudden interest in the grass, his face turning red.

I chuckle and give him the bluebells.

"Here, for you," I say.

"Thanks." He says blushing redder.

Gosh, why is he so cute!

"Come, we're going to the spot I set up," I say, taking his hand in mine, and dragging him to the tower. 

I lead him in, and he looks around his eyes wide open.

"Wow..." he says.

Jay's POV

"Wow.," I say, looking around breathless.

The room was amazing! There were fairy lights hung around the room, then in the centre, there was a small couch, fit for 2 people, facing the window. Then in front of the couch was a blanket with food on it. sandwiches, slices of cake, drinks! 

"Did you do all this?" I ask.

Kai nods.

"Well, with a bit of help from Draco." He replies.

I look at him shocked.

"Draco helped you?!" I ask, surprised.

"Well... I kinda blackmailed him..." Kai says chuckling.

I giggle, then realised what I was doing and stopped, looking down in embarrassment.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Kai asks.

"I don't like my laugh.." I say, not looking up.

Kai comes up to me and engulfs me in a hug. 

"Your laugh is adorable, don't be ashamed of it!" He says.  

I blush, looking down.

The rest of the night was peaceful, with a pureblood and a muggle spending time with each other getting to know one another.

Ok, I did say I would publish something today and here it is! I hope everyone enjoys reading this, but personally I don't like the ending... 

I hope this is good, the next few oneshots aren't really close to finishing, but they will be published soon.
