Today I was supposed to be going on a date with Q. We had been texting back and forth and he asked me to go on a date with him. He was a nice guy, so romantic.
Currently, I was laying in my bed texting Sani. I told her that I would text her after my date with Q.
I left my phone on my bed and got up. I stood in the mirror and just looked at myself. I'm not the girl I used to be. I'm barely happy anymore. I'm just living. I don't feel pretty anymore. I just want to go back to how everything was.
I had already taken a shower so, I gathered my clothes and put them on. I decided to take a picture because I figured I looked kind of cute.

After I posted the picture I grabbed my purse and my keys. I headed downstairs and hopped into my car. I just sat in my car for a few waiting for Q to text me that he was pulling up to the place.
I decided I was gonna leave when he was there because the place is only a couple minutes from my house. While waiting, I turned on some music. Bryson Tiller-Sorrows started playing and I was singing my heart out.
"When I'm lonely baby, Its like my friends don't know me. Girl you used to be my homie. Left me like a dream she sold me. Even the dreams get lonely left me here at three in the morning. Questioning all the things you told me." I sung. Just then I got a text from Quintin and I drove off letting the song play.
Soon I had pulled up at this fancy restaurant. I took my keys out the ignition and grabbed my purse. While closing the car door, I pulled my dress down. I looked through the glass windows as I walked in and saw Q.
"Hi ma'am, welcome to The Tavern. Do you have a reservation?" A lady walked up to me and asked.
"Yes. I'm meeting with a friend" I said.
"Can you tell me you and your friends name?"
"Quintin and Jahri" I stated and she began looking through papers.
"Okay here we are. Right over there" She said pointing to where Q was sitting.
"Thank You" I walked away. I sat down in the booth. Admiring what Quintin had on.
"You look good" He said looking me up and down
"I try" I chuckled. "You look good too"
" I meannn, Drip is what I do" He said standing up. I just laughed. He really did look good asf.

"So tell me about yourself" He said sitting back down.
"Well my name is Jahri , I have a daughter, I'm working in the medical field, and that's all really" I smiled. I noticed he wasn't taken back by the fact that I have a daughter. Most niggas would have up and left.
"You gotta babygirl" He asked and I shook my head. "Awww" He said making me laugh.
"Ok so now tell me about you."
"My name Quintin, I'm 22, Im a hood nigga-" Right before he could finish a waiter came up to us and asked us about drinks and appetizers.
Everything after that pretty much went well. We talked about ourselves and we just got to know each other. After we ate, I gave him a hug and thanked him.
I was now driving back home. I shot Sani a text to come over. Letting her know not to bring them loud ass animals. Knowing them they would probably try to come anyways.
I walked into my house and the first thing I did was kick my shoes off. I collapsed on the sofa waiting for Sani to come. I was just scrolling through Instagram and I noticed Kentrell out with some girl. She was a pretty girl not gonna lie.
I was knocked out of my thoughts by my doorbell being rung. I got up and unlocked the door just seeing Sani but before I could close it, here came the rest of the zoo. They just don't listen. When somebody don't want you at they house that don't mean come to they house anyways.
"Ohhh best friend, who you all dressed up for" Kd said with my heels on. It ain't even been 5 minutes and this nigga got my heels on.
"A date best friend" I said laughing at him.
"I'm telling on you" He said trying to walk away twisting his hips and clean fell.
Everybody bust out laughing.
"Gay ass" Ben said.
"Boy fuck you" Kd said getting up attempting to walk again.
"So what you wanna do for your birthday bestiee" Sani said squeling. My birthday was coming up in a few weeks. And I was finally turning 21. I really didn't wanna do anything. But I couldn't tell her that cause then she would make me do something anyways.
"I don't know what I wanna do. Surprise me" I told her getting up to go change my clothes.
"Dont say that in front of these people" She said. "They take surprise to a whole other level"
I went upstairs and changed into some night clothes. Not really but It was clothes that I sleep in. I heard the doorbell ring again. But It probably was just Montana bringing Ke back. He said that I never let him and Ah'jah see her. So he kept her while I went on this lil date.
After changing I went downstairs and my heart started racing. I didn't see Montana , Ahjah, or Ke'Ahri. I just know they ain't come prancing they asses in my house. My heart was beating super face.
"Jah gon beat the fuck outta you" Kd whispered. As If I wasn't standing at the bottom of the stairs.
Before I knew it everything went Black and I just blanked out.
