Kuroka along with her sister Koneko were experimented by their master in order to create a Super Devil, only to be murdered by her. Sirzechs Gremory took action and dispatched a team to hunt her down. Kuroka accidentally wandered into (Y)'s territory, where he was in the middle of training. Annoyed by the uproar, he wiped out the team with no effort and confronted Kuroka as she told him why she was on the run. He agreed to let her live and promised that her sister would survive his slaughter.
