The Mechanical Hero (Momo Yaoyorzu x Male OC)

Beginning

I'm sitting in class staring out the window not really paying attention to class. While I am happy to be away from home for a while, the fact that I'll have to go home to my neglectful father and my bitch of a sister, ugh, I'm repulsed by the mere thought of them.

Now a little bit about me, I have a very... interesting quirk to say the least that I inherited from my mom. Who of which inherited it from me grandma. My grandma, she's a retired pro hero who was one of the best until she sustained an injury that left her paralyzed from the waist down, now she spends her time training me because my father won't. Anyways I won't bore you with my life story(at least for now) let's just get on with it shall we?

Teacher: so.....as third year students it's time to think seriously about your future.....

Kaoru:*thinks* I swear to fuck I'm gonna make myself throw up if we have another test

Teacher: I could pass out some career aptitude tests, but why bother, I know you all want to go to the hero track!

I immediately turn my attention to the teacher at the mention of the hero track, being a hero is honestly all I want out of life

Angry Pomeranian dude: hey teach don't compare me to this bunch of losers

Kaoru:*thinks* oh boy here we go, time fore Bakubitch to taunt us

Bakugou: I'm the real deal, but these guys will be lucky if they end up as sidekicks to some busted D-lister, ha!

This makes the whole class very angry, as it should

Background student: you think you're better than us Katsuki!?

Bakugou: let's go! I'll take you all on!

Kaoru:*thinks* what a prick, seriously what makes this chump think he's so much better than us?

Teacher: hm, you got some impressive test results, maybe you will get in UA High

The class starts muttering about how hard it is to get into UA

Random student: it's impossible to get in!

Bakugou: that's why it's the only place worth of me!

Finally having enough of this guy's cockiness I decide to speak up

Kaoru: you know, strength isn't everything when it comes to hero work. That's basically all that your quirk has, not much else really

Bakugou: what was that punk!?

Kaoru: what's the matter? You deaf? I can always scan and make a hearing aid for you

Bakugou: grrr....I'LL MAKE YOU EAT THOSE WORDS SCRAP HEAP

Kaoru: ya don't eat words, stupid

Bakugou growls more but gives up and hits his head on he desk

Bakugou:*mumbling* I liked it better when he was quiet-

Teacher: well rivalries aside, you both have admirable grades. Not to mention your skills in general, I think you both would make splendid heroes. But what about you Midoriya? Didn't you wanna go to UA too?

another student: Midoriya? You're kidding right? There's no way you're getting into the hero course without a quirk!

Everyone else apart from me starts laughing. Honestly these guys will never become heroes, not if they keep messing with this kid who did nothing wrong

Izuku: actually they removed this rule, I could be the first

Irritated, Bakugou creates an explosion on Izuku's table causing him to stumble and fall on his butt

Bakugou: listen up Deku! Even if Shiro-kun has a semi-decent quirk, you're a quirkless wannabe! You really think they're gonna let you in when they have me!?

Izuku: no no wait! I'm not trying to compete against you it's just......I wanted to be a hero since I was little, I may not have a quirk, but I can still try my hardest!

Bakugou: you'll never be able to compete with the best of the best! You'll die in the exams! Defenseless Izuku!

Kaoru: Bakugou shut up will you? Even if Midoriya will struggle being a hero without a quirk, you don't have to rub it in like that. Like honestly, you're being a total prick, and pricks don't make good heroes

Bakugou growls like a tiger while looking at me

Bakugou: YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN ME?! I'LL SHOW YOU SCRAP HEAP!

Kaoru: when did I say I was better than you? I was just stating the obvious, you're a jerk, you living nuke

Teacher: settle down students, I'd rather not have to deal with a death at the school. Now sit down Bakugou

Bakugou grumbles and goes back to his desk. Meanwhile I'm just sitting there with a look of complete apathy

The rest of the day goes by like normal and I see that Bakubitch is picking on Midoriya again

Bakugou: just pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life and take a swan dive off the roof of the building

Hearing him say this is the thing that finally makes me snap, I walk behind Bakubitch and tap his back

Bakugou: what do you want scrap heap?

I slap him, hard

Kaoru: I want you to leave Midoriya alo-

Before I can finish, Bakugou grabs me by the collar and slams me into the wall

Bakugou: you got a death wish or something?!

I kick him in the shin and punch him on to the floor, I start to activate my my quirk but then decide against it. After all it's not worth the trouble.

Kaoru: just leave him alone, and don't make me have to do this again

I spit in his direction and walk out the building
