"Took you long enough, cousin"
These words ran through Bloom's ear and swirled around like mad. She couldn't think, she could barely breathe, just glared at the two worst people (next to the Trix) she'd ever met.
"Sorry, love. Not easy to get around this dimension" he scowled, looking at Bloom who shook in fury. "Now, as for you; do we really have to go through this again? Sounds like you miss Isis" he smirked at her.
"Shut...up" she growled.
"Wanna say that again, pipsqueak?"
"SHUT UP!" A flame burst spiraled around her and made a hot line towards the relatives. Jared moved Diaspro behind him and held up the only thing that could stop it: a water star...Bloom's water star. The fire came close to touching but it didn't. The water star's opposing magic just put out the fire, leaving a smoke trail.
De-transforming, she fell from the sky, drained of all her energy. Sky ran to where she was and caught her before she hit the ground. "Guards!" Nearby guards came from the castle and made an army in front of the two.
"What is going on out...here?" Erendor and Samara came out of the castle, seeing a fainted Bloom. Following the direction of the guards formation, they saw Diaspro and her blue haired cousin. "Diaspro! This better not be your doing!" Erendor yelled out to her.
"I did nothing of the sort!" She flew to the ground and de-transformed as well. "I was just helping"
"You're always up to something, girl" Samara shook her head and looked at Sky. "Get her to the infirmary, and you" she pointed at the blonde girl. "In the throne room, immediately!"
Sky took Bloom to the west wing of the palace where everything seemed to just turn white like bleach. He hated this side of the castle, but this was for Bloom...who also dreaded hospitals.
He walked in and laid Bloom on one of the beds. He ran a hand through her hair lightly, sitting with her in silence, waiting for the doctor.
15 minutes passed before she came in. "Ahh. So sorry to keep you waiting, Prince Sky. What seems to be the problem?" She smiled brightly at Sky, her eyes trailing over to the limp red head. "Ahh...I see. I'll take it from here, hun. She's in good hands" she pat his back and he got up, knowing that was his cue to leave the doctor to her work.
Hours passed and Sky was getting more and more nervous by the minute. He went out to see what happened to their guests. He was down the hall from the throne room where Samara has been scolding Diaspro for the last half hour. He stood out of sight, listening.
"That was your last chance, Diaspro. I lifted the ban and you continue to do the same thing. You'll never change! Do not come back to this kingdom ever! Do you understand me?!" A loud sigh was heard and a quiet "yes" and "I'm sorry". "Go pack your items. I'll have a ship take you whenever you decide and that troublesome cousin of yours" her heels clicked on the floor as she headed up the stairs.
Sky went up to his room to take a nap, thinking this day couldn't get any worse. Two hours later, his phone started ringing. He picked it up and answered without looking at the ID. "Hello?"
"Sky... c-can you come back?" Her voice shook and cracked.
"Yea. I'm coming right now. What happened?" He got up and checked himself before leaving his room and going to the med wing, walking briskly, not wanting her to be alone too long.
It was quiet for a minute.
"I got a call..." she whispered.
"Say no more. I'm almost there, Bloom" he turned onto the hallway that lead to the castle's hospital. "I can see the door. I'll be there in one minute" he counted down the seconds when the line died. He saw her room with 15 seconds left.
He knocked on the door and the door opened a bit and he looked down to see her cyan eyes filled with tears and fear. She opened the door all the way and he stepped inside. When he turned around to look at her, her arms were around his neck tightly. His arms went around her waist out of instinct. Now this...this felt right, even though she was hysterically in tears.
He held her until she calmed down to quiet sniffles. She pulled away from the hold, wiping her eyes. "I'm sorry.." she apologized with her head down.
"Don't" he placed his thumb and index finger on and under her chin, gently lifting her head up. "I'm here when you need me. I might not have been there before, but I'm here now. I'm fighting for you, Bloom" he promised. She looked at him, his eyes hardened in determination.
Now she understood it. Everyone is fighting for her; she's the deal breaker. She couldn't believe she had let everything she built up, be destroyed so easily. Never again. If she has to die for this, she's ready.
Her eyes trailed down to his lips and back up to his. Little did she know, his had done the same and their eyes met at the exact same time. She closed the gap between them and they both leaned in, his fingers still on her chin, moving to her cheek. Her hands ran up his chest and rested there.
Their eyes closed once their lips brushed over the others. They met each other at the same time. Sky's hands moved to her waist and Bloom's arms went around his neck and they pulled each other closer.
The power that single kiss held was mind blowing. It held everything from love and passion to pain and misery. The universe seemed to explode around them and left them there, both unharmed to build another. Eventually, they pulled away to catch their breath, still floating on the clouds.
Once their eyes met again, they started smiling and laughing, holding onto each other for support until they sobered up and lingered in the love they held for each other a bit longer.
The doctor let her go once she was confident that she was ok. They went up to Sky's room...
