"A normal day, a normal life, the same old house, same old roads, same old friends but not the same old sweet little boy taehyu-"

"Oh shut up will you?", a boy with curly black hair said to his friend who was wearing an annoying teasing grin while walking beside him.

"Oh come on tae. Don't you see yourself every day in the mirror? It's like our old sweet little Taehyung was taken and replaced by a new sexy, hot af Taehyung. How did you change so much in less than a week huh? Tell me.Did something happen on your recent birthday? Did a fairy came and-"

The aforementioned boy groaned loudly, tired of hearing the same thing almost every day. He took the bag he was carrying and threw it in his friend's face, the force not being strong enough to make him fall.

"Yah-"

"Shut up Jimin, before I kick your butt".

Jimin fake pouted and reached for Taehyungs bag which was now on the ground, the result of not catching it in time, and threw it back to him. The later catches it before starting to walk again. They stopped at the bus station where Taehyung took a seat while Jimin leaned against the pole, running his hands through his hair from time to time.

"You are so overdramatic! You already know why I changed my hairstyle a bit. A BIT. So stop mentioning that", Taehyung frowned.

"Yeah. Baby making himself all pretty for his alph-" He fell on the ground before he could finish because of another hit on his face with the same bag. It only made him laugh and clutch his stomach.

"You make it sound so cringe! As if you don't make yourself presentable every day before going to college to impress your cute little omega," Taehyung said mockingly.

"That's a different thing baby", Jimin said standing up and winking at him before handing him his bag again. "I didn't change my whole fashion style though," he said visibly eyeing Taehyungs clothes, which were a beige wide-sleeved inned t-shirt and black loose-fitted long pants that made his hips look a lot wider than before. It actually made him look a lot older than he is. Totally different from the oversized colorful hoodies he used to wear. He had a whole closet change much to Jimins amusement. 

It did nothing but earn a huff and complete ignorance from the later. Relaxing a bit, Taehyung fished out his phone from his bag-which not to mention got some dust over its black body- and focused on it,  planning to spend time going through his social media. Jimin only stood there and kept looking around while running his hand through his hair which became a habit of him lately, Taehyung noticed. The later can only hope it doesn't get greasy. 

Jimin and Taehyung were childhood friends. Although they are quite the opposites, they clicked really quickly when they met at the elementary school for the first time. Apparently two crying boys at the back of the class (because they didint want to go to school as -‌SCHOOL IS SCARY-their words) are meant to be friends. Atleast thats what they had believed till this date. Jimin was an Alpha. Something they expected since he had that kind of aura. His face may scream baby but his body doesn't. On the other hand, Taehyung was always a soft boy with soft features and a cute face. As stereotypical as it may seem, pretty much everyone expected him to be a beta or omega. Though he was a year younger than Jimin, they were in the same class and recently he turned 20 and presented as an omega. His parents couldn't be more happy to have an omega son, not because they were rare(they were not) but because they always wanted an omega son as they already had a beta daughter and an alpha son, who was the eldest of the three Kim siblings, Taehyung being the youngest.

They got on the bus when it arrived and sat at the back as usual.
It was a ten minutes ride to their university.

Entering the campus just like they do every weekdays, ignoring the occasional stares they-(or more specifically Taehyung)- were getting. He is pretty popular on the campus. Ever since he started studying there. Even more, after his 'change', as Jimin likes to call it. Many alphas and betas have their eye on him but are scared to reach because of a certain alpha he's always hanging with. Taehyung wasn't oblivious. He was used to it and subconsciously expects it every time he enters the campus.
