Hearing him call my name was like music to my ears.

I have waited 12 years to hear my name on his lips.

Again that muted slamming sound like someone trying to break a window made me shift my attention back to the problem at hand.

I better go and check. And then I can spend some time catching up with P'Tul.

I looked at him standing so close to me and smiled.

~~~xxx~~~
This time when he smiled his smile was genuine. There was nothing flirty or seductive about it.
"Phi, please wait here. I will go check and be back quickly. You can checkout the books till then if you like." He said.
But I was reluctant to let him go alone. What if it was someone or something dangerous.
"I will come with you. Let me grab the candle." I said moving to pick the candle from the table.
No point in having a fire hazard on our hands by leaving a burning candle in the middle of a library.
"It's fine! I can take care of whatever it is," he replied.
I ignored him and picking the candle went back and opened the door. Just for a moment I felt disoriented by the dark passage and hesitated.
He silently took the candle from my hand and lead the way to the stairs. Halfway up the stairs we once again heard that half slamming half scratching sound. It was a little louder this time.
Just as we emerged on to the landing a waft of air blew the candle out and plunged us into darkness.
A current ran up and down my spine as I felt a cold draft caress my face.
I felt his hand touch my arm. He was standing close behind me. I could feel the slight heat from his body against my back.
And yet a delicious shiver coursed through my body. Making me wonder if it was from the chill in the room or from the close proximity to his body.
I shook myself mentally. I better get whatever it was that was making this mysterious sound sorted. And then I could concentrate on the man who had my cock on high alert ever since he had come knocking on my door.
Maybe it's the back door I thought as I heard that sound again. And immediately admonished myself as my one track brain flashed in my mind's eye a picture of a well rounded tushy.
I didn't need a light to get to the kitchen. I grew up in this house and know every nook and corner.
But still I walked slowly carefully. Mindful that Tul might trip and fall if I didn't pay attention.
Once in the kitchen I found the rechargeable high beam flashlight and turned it on.
A moment later the source of the mysterious sounds was in front of us.
I looked towards Tul, who let out a strangled yelp and stared with his mouth hanging open at the huge branch which had made its way inside the kitchen through the high window lining one wall of the kitchen and was now hanging precariously over the kitchen counter dripping ample amounts of rain water.
Everytime the wind outside picked up, the branch would rustle and scrap against the broken glass pane make the eerie scratching sound.
I stifled a sigh of dismay as I could see my seduction time being cut short. I would now first have to get this mess cleared.
Thankfully only one glass appeared to be broken. I decided to just get to it and get the work done as soon as possible.
I made my way to the kitchen door which opened on to the backyard and to the little shed which held all the handyman equipment. The moment I opened the door I winced.
